  1. well Ann I will see. I upped my calsories this weekend. Im going to try my hardest not to step on the scale till friday. I will keep workingout like a mad woman and see if this week is better! Ann you are always so uplifting and positive! Thankyou!:smile2: I will also try to not complain this week about the lack of weightloss. heres to a great week!
  2. well, this eek I stayed the same. I have been working out like a mad woman. My goal was to be under 200 by thanksgiving and it seems that those 10 pounds wont budge. I am very good with what I eat and I am burning 700 to 1000 cals working out4 to 5 times a week. maybe my body is adjusting but I want to see the scale drop. I know patience! but I have never had much of that. I complain here because my hubby said if I keep so obsessed with it he will hide the scales again! I dont want that to happen. May be next week I will have a good drop in weight. congrats to all this week weather you lost or stayed the same. Keep up the great work!
  3. Thsank you Ann! When do you go back in for a fill? Hopefully it is soon. This past week my body kicked into gear. The scale is now catching up with the inches lost. I lost 6 pounds last week and over the weekend I lost an additional 3 pounds!!!!!! I now weight less then my husband...what a great feeling! I am now even more pumped to lose weight and eat right. I will even skip the Birthday cake on Wed. (it will be my 28th Birthday!) I can now see that I will be in One-derland very soon! Thankyou so much to everyone, I love the Mayo banditos and the support they bring!!:wink2:
  4. Thank you Linda! It feels awesome. Plus I love the restricition again. I missed that feeling so much!!!
  5. I have been battling the same 2 pounds for 3 week... but FINALLY a good week, after getting my 3rd fill on tuesday. and getting rid of "aunt Flo" I dropped those 2 pounds PLUS an additional 4 pounds!!!!:w00t: I feel on top of the world right now. The last couple weeks have been so discouraging but I stuck it out! I wasnt losing on the scale but I do know I was losing inches...now im doing both!!!! lets have another great week this coming week!
  6. Linda, that is amazing! Keep up the great job. The pictures are very evedient on how well you are doing. Congrats about breaking the 200 line. You look awesome!!!
  7. well for the 3rd week in a row im battling the same 2 pounds up and down. ever since my last fill I have absolutly no restriction. I feel like I am hungry all the time. I am working out every other day running on the treadmill..then on sat I go with a friend and hike some of the hardest mountains in phoenix. I thought with doing all this I would be down a few pounds, but no such luck. Thankfully tuesday I go in for my 3rd fill. I really hope that helps. Ann-I hear you stomach here in phoenix and mine is answering back...listen and you can hear it say....feed me!!!! But I am trying to hold strong! congrats to all this week weather you lost, maintained, or gained a little. We are all working toward the same goal on this journey. Keep strong and heres to a great next week loss!!!!
  8. Thank you very much. It is always encouraging to hear that the weightloss is noticable to others! sometimes we can be so hard on ourselves. Your pictures are amazing too. Keep up the great work!
  9. well I hope I put up my pictures right. The first one was taken last christmas the next was taken july 4th over a month after surgery, and the last one was taken 3 weeks ago. I can tell in my face that I have lost weight!
  10. Spidey, Because of my port problems they have to do the fill under fluoroscopy and the only doctor that does that for a mexico patient is 2 hours away. They actually do the fill in the operating room and nobody can go in with me (thats way I cant take the kids with me). But I did just schedual a fill appointment for October 20th. Now I just need to find someone to watch the kidos! heres to hopefully getting restriction on the 3rd fill!!! btw spidey congrats on being "overweight" (that does seem to sound funny congratulating...lol) you are doing awesome!!!
  11. Im very frustrated the last couple weeks. I have been fluctuating up and down 2 pounds with no weight loss. ever since my second fill I have had absolutly NO RESTRICTION! I have been hungry all the time. I hate it. I need to get another fill but I have to get someone to watch my kids and then travel 2 hours out of town and pay $250 each time I go. well I know it is what I need I just wish I was going back with at least a little weight loss. sorry, guess I just needed to blow off steam. I want to be in onederland by the end of the year. It seems like 20# would be easy but with no weightloss it seems unatainable right now. I will see if I can make an appointment for sometime next week.
  12. carrie, I was going to have my surgery here in phoenix by one of the best surgeon. Then I heard from everyone that he is a great surgeon but the (lack of) aftercare made it a horrible experience and people couldn't use the tool the way it shoould be used. So I was banded in mexico. Then I had to find a dr here in town for my aftere care. I found a great dr and it has been smooth sailing. In all this Im just saying switching after care doctors does not have to be a bad thing. Especially if in the long run it is what is best for you and your journey. Good luck and I will pray for your situation!

  14. Well I didnt get on the scale today (has been very busy since 6am) but as of yesterday I am down 3# for the week. Yay!!!! that means I am over halfway to my goal! Oh and lastr night we went out to a party at this masion in town....I was able to wear a pair of size 16 pants down from a size 24. woot woot!!!! It felt great. I will have to post some pics. My husband said not only does he see the change in me physically but mentally Im back to my happy giddy self again!
  15. I had my second fill and I too have no restriction. Im hungry all the time and Im fluctuating 2 pounds (i know it can be water). But I decided today that for 2 days im going to do only protine shakes. I survived preop why cant I do that now? so wish me luck!!! so far today im ok...but my hunger usually starts in the afternoon.
  16. well after posting yesterday about not exercising I felt guilty and worked out a bit before work. I plan on doing more tonight. It did feel good to get in a formal workout. Also I am excited Biggest Loser starts tonight...I dont know why but that show gives me a lot of motivation to workout. I LOVE IT!!!:mad2: great job to the rest of you who are doing so well!
  17. I will be the first to admit that I haven't started exercising...but I am constantly on the move. I get up early and get 3 kids ready. go to work with one of my kids. go home make dinner clean house and much much more. I know not an excuse but I still seem to be losing well. But this week I am going to try to start using my treadmill again. Hopefully that will increase my weightloss more. but since may 29th I have lost 55 #
  18. after having my second fill on tuesday, I am down 2 pounds! 3 more pounds and I am halfway there. I am very happy about all the progress. This TOOL is awesome.
  19. Bevanfranks, Thank you for your input. I agree I think I will hold off on doing any type of surgery. I can put up with it. but I know that if I need there is an option to fix it. I do not have a garentee due to the fact that I was banded in mexico. I just dont want to travel back. and if I needed my port fixed I think I might just as well have that done here! Thank you again for the feed back. Keep up the great work!
  20. spidey thank you for your opinion. You have such uplifting comments for so many of us. I vote you Miss conginiality for the Mayo banditos!!!!:w00t: I think I will keep my port how it is for now...but appriciate feedback from everyone!! I hope my restriction is back after the fill but hard to tell when you are still on liquids. I guess at lunch I will know. Heres to the tool that is changing my life for the better:thumbup:
  21. well i traveled to my fill doctor on tuesday for my second fill. Before the fill I could eat without getting full. what a horrable feeling! so I went in, I already had 1.5cc in and he added .75cc to bring me to 2.25cc in a 4cc band. I am still on liquids till about lunch time (but I did break down and have a yogurt last night after church, I was hungry). I just want to get to onederland before thanks giving. I have a lot of family coming in and want to show them a big healthier differance. Im sure I can get there it is only 24 more pounds! Oh but still having a little trouble with my fills. My first fill they couldnt do becasue they thought my port was flipped over. Then I went to a differant doctor who did it under flouro and after an hour of trouble he told me my port was turned sideways. He layed me down and pushed extremely hard on my portsite to lay it down and then was able to do the fill. Well this time he imediatly had me lay down and said it was still on its side so he still had to push extremely hard to lay it down and then still had problems with the angle and bent the needle but did get it in. He recomends I have the port resutured to my stomach because he said some of the sutures that tie it to the stomach have come undone and I will continue to have problems with my fill. Im not sure if I want to go through with surgery again or put up with a more difficult fills. what would you do if you were in my situation. by the way I am self pay and would have to pay out of pocket to get it done. Look forward to your input!:w00t:
  22. I didn't weigh in today, but as of yesterday I am down an additional 2 pounds! That makes a total of 52 pounds lost. I am almost half way there!:sneaky:

  25. well until friday I had maintained the same weight. then friday morning i jumped on the scale on it showed a 3 pound loss...I cant believe it im so happy mainly for the fact that my monthly started the day before, and I usually retain a lot of water during my monthly.
