Going for my second fill next week. Haven't lost a lb since my first fill. No restriction felt 3 days after 1st fill. I was eating a bean burrito about a month ago and was eating too fast. Got stuck and it took me 2 hrs of sliming and pbing to get it out. It was horrible. It has been really hard for me to slow down and chew chew chew. Also smaller bites are a problem. You can't afford to let yourself get too hungry. This is definitely a learning experience!

I know where you're coming from A couple of weeks ago I got stuck so bad it took me two hours of pbing to get it out. I was hungry and ate too fast. Not again!!. I'm going for my second fill next week and I'm concerned about it happening again, but I'm not loosing and that is my goal. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers for tomorrow. You'll be fine, and remember its going to help you start loosing again!!:smile2:

I was banded April 22, 2009 at 206. I now weigh 185

Had my first fill yesterday. 3cc added. Hurt a little more than I liked but no one ever said it would be easy. I do fill restricion today. Hoping not to have to get another one for a while! I have to drive 3 hours to see my doc so I'll have to be sure when I decide.:ihih:

I am allergic to the steri strips. Had bandaids on my incisions. My doc said I could stop using bandaids when drainage stopped.

I'm 5 weeks post op. I think that was the worst! Mine possibly lasted almost a month. Still if I over eat I feel it in my left shoulder.

My GP said I didn't need it. I just needed to exercise and eat right. (She probably weights 105 and has always been that way)

I am 5 weeks post op. I'm even gaining a little but am not following a strict diet. Going for my first fill Tuesday. Can hardly wait! Had my first PB this weekend ! Been dreading that. Got to remember to chew chew chew and smaller bites. This is a learning process for me right now!. But am really glad I had the surgery! No longer living by the scale. It no longer runs my life!

Surgery Date Was 04/22/09. I was able to go the work the following day. My daughter had her surgery last July and was not able to work. Go Figure!

Don't be discouraged! Maybe its time for a fill. My doc scheduled me for three months after my checkup last week but to come in for a fill when I started gaining or couldn't loose weight.

I weighed in at 201. I'm 5' 3.5. Would like to weigh 150. I'm 3 weeks out of surgery and have lost 15 lbs. Starting to get where I can eat more though. I see a fill comming soon! :mad2:

Congratulations!! Aren't you glad that part is over. I'm 2 wks out tomorrow and it gets better every day. It's really hard for me to drink so much too. I do the best that I can. Keep a bottle of Protein drink next to me all day. People on this website have said over and over that protein is the key to a good recovery, so I'm trying really hard!

Very tired this morning. Only took pain med when I went to bed thinking it would help me sleep. Had weird dreams and woke often. Won't be taking that anymore! Feel good. Port site is sore and having some gas pains in my chest but those will pass. Glad I'm able to work since its payroll day. (I own a business). I do look forward to being lazy this weekend though.
