Let's talk about food with a crunch.

Let's talk about food with a crunch. Make This Entry A Draft Lock Entry Delete Entry Edit Entry Posted by AngieB , Yesterday, 07:44 AM I brough several bags of Kay's Naturals foods They had a sale and a good sample package so I bought some goodies. When I focus on protein, I am finding more and more that I want something with a crunch. Now, I didn't realize I was a "cruchy" type of food eater. Before now, I have not been big into chips or foods that offered that crunch. Most of the proteins' I eat now are soft, chewy or meaty. That completely leaves out the crunch. So on the search I went. This morning I had a bag of Honey Almond Protein cereal. When I opened the bag and poured some out, my first reaction was that the pieces looked airy. Taste was good for a protein cereal. Over all good taste for the nutrition facts. Resized to 79% (was 640 x 480) - Click image to enlarge Resized to 79% (was 640 x 480) - Click image to enlarge Provides me with crunch, protein, low calories, so it's a winner in my book. I am so blessed! AND a Challenge!

JeweI - I would love to be a support buddy with you. I need some scale recovery time! LOL Congrats on setting a date! That is awesome and what a great way to begin the new year. So I will weigh in tomorrow, for the week. Gonna use my Wed weight in data for this board on Friday's weigh in. Not even gonna step on the scale. Wed is the only day. I've been to focused on the darn scale. I'll message you tomorrow and touch base....I've been double dipping so it's hard both morning and night. Gessh! How did I get so scale obsessed?!?!?! When are you going to weigh in...a certain day of the week...let me know.

I am so blessed! AND a Challenge!

BG sounds like a plan! I opened up a December Challenge to help us see one another better! I have fallen a bit shy of my November goal for 6000 steps a day. Gonna work in getting to goal in December. Gotta find ways to get more steps in. Desk job and a early stage family....gonna have to make more me time. Baths, dinner, blah blah! LOL

    Confusion About Band discomfort.

I would recommend you start to read some literature on the band. It will help you understand about the process better and learn the tips of the trade so to speak. What soft stops are, hard stops, how much chewing to do, portion size, ect. This is not like gastric bypass where the weight comes off fast, this is a gradual process.
