  1. How many calories are you eating? Maybe not enough? I lose best at around 1300-1400 calories.
  2. I'm sorry, that doesn't sound fun! You really should've been given pain meds. Try a heating pad too.
  3. I had one. They put it in after I was asleep, and it stayed in until the next day before I left.
  4. I had one spot that was sore longer than the others. My surgeon said it was his "working incision." I'm pretty sure I was totally pain free after 2 weeks.
  5. I have a Realize band. I think it's just what my surgeon normally uses.
  6. I NEED that to happen! My poor deprived husband...
  7. Milk of Magnesia is amazing for BM's. Start with 1 tablespoon. I took 3 tbs and couldn't leave the house!
  8. Don't feel bad for us, feel bad for our spouses! lol I have lots of gas too. and its SUPER painful gas if I don't take tiny bites and eat tiny meals.
  9. I had diarhea for the first couple weeks. Now its more of the opposite problem.
  10. ok, so is calcium with Vit D, just as good as citrate?
  11. I hate my calcium supplements. I am looking for a different kind, but in the meantime, I was wondering why we need them. Anyone want to buy a giant bottle of Bariatric Advantage wild cherry calcium lozenges? I also have a giant bag of chocolate bariatric advantage protein, that I will never use. And why does it have to be citrate?
  12. That sounds like a good plan! I haven't had my first fill yet, so I'm not sure how it works.
  13. I don't exercise as much as I should. I do arms, while watching tv, every other day, and when I think about it I do an exercise show. If you have OnDemand, check out ExerciseTV. There are TONS to choose from. Anything you could ever want to do.
  14. Once I started getting more calories in (like 1300-1500) I started losing more. You're not eating enough, even if you were losing.
  15. I'm in So-Cal but I am already post-op.
  16. AHHHH I'm just now seeing this forum. I'm here now! lol
  17. Also bowel movements have been difficult.
  18. No, I'm not sure. I HOPE that's what it is, and that's why I haven't gone to the doc.
  19. Mine is below my bra line, right in the center.
  20. I have upped my calories this past week, and have been losing wonderfully! I think sometimes, people just aren't eating enough!
  21. Ok, so I have been having these pains since Weds., about 6 days now. I've been hoping it's just gas or a new kind of period cramps or something, but 6 days of this seems like a long time. On a scale from 1-10, this is a 9 on the pain scale. It feels like realllly bad gas pains, almost like labor. I get it in the lower left, and right abdomen, and it's also vaginal and rectal. Weird, I know. It's like being stabbed! Also, it's never in more than one spot at a time. It isn't consistent. Sometimes it is there for a few hours, sometimes it's just one stabbing pain for 5 seconds. Has anyone experienced this? I am almost 4 weeks post-op. If it's still bothering me tomorrow, I'm going to go in to the doctor.
  22. I'm almost 4 weeks out and have started trying different foods. I can eat anything, BUT I definitely can't eat as much as I used too. I also very rarely feel hungry.
