  2. Happy 47th Birthday fitfalife91!

  3. OMG!!! You look amazing, This gives me the inspiration I need. I have been struggling for the last few months and have been having second thoughts. But After seeing your amazing transformation. I am ready to get back on the bandwagon. Care to share best practices: eating habits, portions, diet?????

  4. Thank you so much for the comment! My starting weight was 280 and right now I weigh about 187. Right now my goal is 170 but it depends on what it looks like when I get there. You can message me for tips but small portions several times a day and in the gym is what I do!

  5. thanks for the photo comment. I work out an hour a day five days a week. I bellydance and do water aerobics as well as use the treadmill and elipitcal machine. I rotate fish, beef, chicken and pork for all meals. When i cook dinner, i cook enough to have some for lunch the next day. I do everything my doc asks me too! Giggle! I am loving the results, why mess that up?

    Houston we have a problem...can u help?

Congrats!! I can't give you any advise regarding a doctor for a tummy tuck because I am nowhere near that, however, do you care to offer some advise how you lost 120 lbs. I was banded 6/08 and have only lost 50 lbs.
  7. Congratulations on your weight loss. Care to share exercise and diet?

Should I do lapband or should I not???????????

Being banded is not bad. As everyone knows, its just an agent. I have lost a total of about 40 lbs. What I have found to work best for me is not eating and drinking at the same time. I normally wait 45 mins after a meal to drink. I also eat from a saucer to control the amount of food that I take in. Your body will tell you when you are full. The one good thing about it is that I am losing slow so it looks natural. Good Luck to you

Banded July 30th - how long do you wear the surgi-strips?

The information provided by Malisafos is absolutely correct. I was told the same thing from my doctor. By the time I went to see him two weeks after the surgery, most of the strips had fallen off.

    the pain is horrible

I am a punk when it comes to pain. I was feeling the same as you if not worse. I kept calling the doctor asking him if I was suppose to be feeling like this. He said that everyone's tolerance level is different. It took about a week before the pain really eased up. Just know that it will get better. Best of luck to you!! Congrats on your journey
