Hi everyone! My name is Stacy and am new here. I finally have a surgery date of April 23rd! Been at this since last July! I am getting ready to start my 2 week liquid diet on Friday :thumbup: I am going to have to dig real deep for the will power...so I am hoping being on here and reading about everyones successes it will help keep me on track :mad: If anyone has any tips on what helped them get through the liquid diet I would be happy to hear them. Congrats to everyone that has been banded so far and good luck to everyone that are patiently waiting for theirs! Thanks! Stacy

Hello everyone! I am new on here but have been reading lots of posts and they have great information in them! I was hoping I could get some advice as to how to begin the journey to get banded. The only things I have done so far is a lot of research and spoke with my insurance carrier(BCBS) to see if it was covered and it is!!! They said I need a referral and to see a dietician and pyschologist, do i just see my regular family dr to get these referrals? Any info to point me in the right direction would be great! THANKS!!
