    Hi! I just now joined this site. I'm in Houston and thinking of having the surgery. Hope you're doing better. I have a life-long friend in Pennsylvania who had the surgery several years ago and is doing just great. It changed her life. I'm hoping I can have the surgery. Just wanted to send you support! MRJ

    Hi! I'm in Houston, Texas and want to have Lap Band Surgery. I am not covered by health insurance, not sure I qualify for Texas Medicaid, and not sure Medicaid would cover Lap Band. If anyone has any information that can help me with this, please reply. I'm praying that somehow I can get this done. A life-long friend in Pennsylvania had it done several years ago and she's doing great!! Thanks for any help you can give me, and thanks for this forum! MRJ
