  1. thanks. How much have you lost? Did you have to seriously up your cardio?
  2. thanks for the info on thr hydration. I am doing well. I had the Realize Band in Mar 09 and have 7cc's of fluid. The jury is still out on whether it's too much. I think that I have to remember to eat WAY SLOWER! When I slow nothing gets stuck, but when I eat fast, stuff gets stuck and I have throw back up some of it.
  3. Did you get an answer to your question? I too have had those same things happen. I don't think that you are full. I believe that you aren't chewing slow enough, which I fight every day! I tried Chinese at home on Saturday (chicken and green beans with rice) but couldn't eat it, in fact had to throw it up some of it because it felt, to me, that part it that got stuck. Very unpleasant feeling.
  4. yes I to have that same issue with wanting to weigh all of the time. I do the Wii which I love in the am before I go to work. I feel it keeps me on track.
  5. hitting 198 was awesome. It feels like it took forever. I seem to have to be more and more active though to keep it moving! Is this what you have found?
  6. so how are you doing now? I had my surgery middle of March, but haven't lost a lot of weight, like 22 pounds. I have lost more inches than weight. I also wondered if me being over 50 had anything to do with it as well. I walk and swim as well as watch what I eat. My third fill is in two weeks.
  7. Hi I was banded Mar 12th and go on the 21st for hopefully my first fill. Have you yet had a fill since your posting?
  8. I had surgery March 12th and my port feels like it's to the right of my belly button. I can now sometimes sleep on my stomach, but prefer not to as it's uncomfortable. Generally I sleep with a pillow between the legs for the most comfort.
  9. So did you get any answers? If so, enlighten the other blonde!!
  10. Lisa How are you doing so far? And thanks for the email!!
  11. thanks for the link! I am still filing (no pun intended) my way thru forum stuff.
  12. thanks so much to all!! The pain has indeed eased up a bit. Talk about gas and burping!! YIKES. I go in on the 21st and hopefully will have my first fill. I seemed to be healing very nicely. I haven't lots a lot of weight but have been more active. Maybe inches more than weight. I found out that right now I don't have a lot of restriction so am dealing with how to approach that. More than a cup of anything makes me very full but believe I am still taking in substance too fast. Any thoughts? I still very much have that fat picture in my head!! chinabell54
  13. Hi I just had my surgery last Thursday. So far doing very well. I do have a question. I have pain in my neck along with pain between my colarbone and shoulder. My daughter had the surgery and also from reading know it usually happens. However, how long does this pain last? I realize everybody is different.
