  1. I can not believe that as of today I have lost 55 pounds. I feel great, and can not wait to be at my goal weight which is less than 25 pounds away!
  2. Start fun exersise. Run around with your son. Push him on a swing, have races with him. Don't change your eating just yet. Spend a week writing out everything you put in your mouth. Include the bites of leftover mac and cheese you eat off your son's plate. You can do it. Don't take giant leaps, take baby steps. They will still get to the finish line.
  3. Do you have any restriction? That seems like an awful lot of bread to eat with restriction. Instead of milk why not add your cereal to some Nonfat yogurt and fruit?
  4. I am in as well. I want to be at 159 which would be 15 pounds, and would also put me in the normal weight category on the BMI scale:)
  5. That is what this is all about! Congrats!
  6. When I first started losing weight I had a ton of flab. Now I work out and I see my skin starting to bounce back. I think my bikini days are over but I do see light at the end of the tunnel!
  7. The title scared me a little. Congrats on your milestone though!
  8. At my last fill it was suggested that I suppliment my diet with glutamine, is anyone taking this and do you see a big difference? Apparently it helps repair muscles and rebuilds them.
  9. that weights that you were at for a long time you plateau at? I spent a lot of time at 200 pounds and it took me weeks to get into the 190's. Same thing with 181. I spent a year at 181 and lingered at that weight for almost a month. No amount of exercise helped. Thankfully as of this morning I have broken through to the 170's!!!!
  10. I add benifiber to my water daily. I love the citrus flavor and it gives me something to look forward to something other than plain old water!
  11. Today is my first Thanksgiving banded. Any vets around to give me some tips? Most of my family doesn't know I had this done so any advice would be great! Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
  12. Careful with mashed potatoes. Sounds like your pretty tight. I was not able to do mashed potatoes after my last fill.
  13. I hit it a few weeks ago. Overweight never felt so good!
  14. Gosh that stinks! Tell him you want it done this year so because of the insurance deal.
  15. I was hoping for an update, this seems scary and I hope that it is nothing serious!
  16. sounds like you may need to chew more. I wonder if a tiny piece is getting stuck causing the excess saliva.
  17. I was surprised too. I went in thinking I would be unfilled and left somewhat puzzled.
  18. I went in today for a possible unfill. I am sliming after meals and wanted to make sure I wasn't doing damage. I was there about 9 days ago and have lost 10 pounds in the 9 day. The tech said that was far too much weight to have lost and seemed concerned. Total since my surgery I have lost about 42 pounds. He did not unfill me surprisingly enough. He said if I were sliming in between meals he would have but felt that my band was the best he had ever seen it. Anyone else been told that they are losing too much too fast?
  19. cottage cheese with mand oranges vanilla yogurt with granola(watch the sugar on both of these) Low sugar carnation instant breakfast
  20. I'e had chips 2 times and they didn't hurt but went down a bit too easy so I pretend that they no longer exist.
  21. When I say salt sensitive I mean that I have issues getting salty items down such as pickles, cheese, etc.
  22. Is anyone else salt sensitive? Since my last fill I am unable to eat things such as bleu cheese, olives, pickles, etc. I am a little worried that I may be too tight as I seem to have trouble after almost every meal, but I am not sure if I am eating too fast, my bites are too big or if I am eating the wrong things. It seems that I am always pointed in the right direction after I come on here, so I thought it may be worth a try.
  23. Crazy I know! I was Morbidly obese, then Obese, but tonight I am one pound away from being just overweight. I couldn't be more thrilled to be overweight!
