December 6, 200916 yr At my last fill it was suggested that I suppliment my diet with glutamine, is anyone taking this and do you see a big difference? Apparently it helps repair muscles and rebuilds them.
December 6, 200916 yr If you are able to do it the natural way and lift low weights it will help repair muscle loss. I lost most of my weight without exercising and I am still paying for it. You want to try very hard not to lose muscle tone while losing weight. I take only two supplements and that is B-12 and Iron. Josephine
December 11, 200916 yr My doctor just tested my blood (I am 3.5 years post-op) and I was low in iron. I take Celebrate vitamins - I noticed they advertise on this forum now. Their multivitamin is awesome (and comes in flavors). They have a wonderful iron that is chewable and grape flavored. They also now can be purchased through Amazon which is convenient for me. It is a 2-hour trip to my surgeon's office where I used to buy them. Now that I am post-op for so long, I am not going very often. I just do blood work near home and they fax over results.
