  1. Did she get banded on her birthday? That's very awesome!
  2. You guys are so awesome. Thanks for being there for people!:clap2:
  3. Kathy, Does your surgeon approve of BC powders? I work in an emergency room and see lots of bleeding tummies from those boogers.
  4. I'm another person going to be banded in July!
  5. Hi. I'm Liz. I'm 30. Just me and my two dogs and two ferrets. No one knows yet that I'm going to mexico because they would all give me a hard time. I will truly be going through this alone.
  6. I'm wondering if you ever forget that you've been banded. Do you ever feel like just a normal person, or are you constantly aware that you have this white piece of plastic in your belly? Liz
  7. PVC stands for premature ventricular contraction. Your heart has four chambers two tops (atrium) and two bottoms (ventricles). The top is supposed to beat first and then the bottom. Sometimes the bottom beats first and you get a not very productive heartbeat- that's a pvc. It's kindof like a heart hiccup. One or two usually aren't bad, but many in a row are very serious. Liz
  8. Posting to this list, because I feel like I know you guys already.... I'm being banded in July in mexico. I haven't told anyone that I'm going to mexico to do this because NO ONE would understand. I feel weird leaving the country without anyone knowing.... Anyone faced this problem? Liz
  9. Hi everyone! I've spoken to several of the physicians. Dr. Rumbaut, Dr. Ortiz, and Dr. Rodriguez will all do bands on me (BMI 33). Their webpages may say otherwise, but the office staff say otherwise. It seems to me that Dr. Rumbaut comes out as the #1 surgeon. Who would be the best of the next tier down? Liz
  10. Which Dr. Rodriguez? (There are 2). Liz Brownlee
