  1. Had my surgery on March 3rd, Tuesday. Yesterday I was having pity parties, but today, I am feeling a lot better. I don't think that I am getting the correct foods/liquids. i have a protein shake, but i dont really enjoy drinking it. I drink 2-3 a day, about 6 -8 ounces each time. I have made pudding and jello, but not sugar free. I keep stricktly kosher, and some items are not readily availiable. (like sugar free pudding, jello or popsickles.) I can' wait to get past these weeks of not being able to eat real food. This is a huge challange in my life!!! A lot of my daily events are circled around food. glad to be part of this group
  2. just had my surgery on Tuesday. Today was a turning point. feeling much better, although still in discomfort and pain...though much less!! I have to say that I was not very impressed with my doctors office. I am still not 100% sure of what I can eat. The nurse told me i could have cream soups. I asked her if butternut squash an potato soup was ok and she said yes, but that is not a clear liquid!!! Ugh!! i was very hungry tonight, and ate some of the soup. feel better now. this is going to be a long road ahead!!!
