Priscilla, maybe if you post this question in the general lapband question forum, you will get more responses, if it is only been used since November in Canada, i don't think any of us would have it, as the majority of us have been banded prior to November. Good luck in your Quest. Maria

Gaf, you get the extracts in the grocery store, in the isle that has the flour and the spices, you know with all the things you need for baking. Wal Mart i am sure has them too. Maria :girl_hug:

:opps2: What i meant to say Loriha was i would like to have had Irishrose but it was already taken, so i just used mist because it was the name of a liquor, i do not drink myself but i have bought it for friends, who do say it tastes very good. Maria

We will be at my daughter Michelle's Christmas morning for Breakfast, then go home to relax and then off to my other daughter Karen's for Christmas dinner, what i like about doing this is i do not have to do any cooking. We are about 15 mins away from each daughter, so we do not have far to travel. We usually do a family Christmas get together the Sunday before Christmas, that way they have time to see there in-laws and everyone is happy. Maria

Thank you Victoria, i sure do feel great, and you will too after you are banded and you start seeing the results of your weight loss. My only regret is that i did not find out about the Lap Band sooner, like when i was much younger, but better late than never. Maria :xena_banana:

Hi Nancy I was nervous about moving onto the solid stage also, even though i am and always was a slow eater, the key is just what Jack said take small bite's and make sure you chew until the food is like pureed in your mouth before swallowing. I have not had any problems with sliming or PBing so far ( and i hope i never have ). Sorry to hear about your dad, but it sounds like you have a great support group around you. You are doing great so far and i am sure will continue having great succuss. Good luck. Maria

I hear what you are saying Cloe, my back pain got worse after i lost weight, here i am thinking it is going to get better and instead it gets worse, what the hell is up with that. Don't wait too long to see the doctor Yoda, mister Yoda is right you know you should still go and get it checked now. Take care. Maria

Mandi you have worked just as hard at the exercising as your friend has,and also there are people who could lose just as much weight with out being banded as you have, your friend could be just one of those people. If you do win share some with her maybe like one hundred dollars or buy her a nice gift. Good luck too you, my opinion is that you deserve it just as much as anyone else does. Maria
