  1. I think I'm revising some old posts. Hi everyone, this is my first post. My name is Robbyn. My surgery date is 3/11/09. I last met with my doctor on 2/13/09. He asked me to start the pre op 2 weeks prior to my surgery, but he also told me I could start earlier if I wished. My pre op is 2 isopure drinks a day in addition to at least 40 calories (which is 2 calcium chews). My doctor told me if I had 80 grams of protein a day, I could eat as little as 400 calories a day. However, my doctor also said that a low fat/low carb diet would be fine. I did go off program. 400 calories a day was pretty tough especially since he said 400 to 800... 800 was the max. I've logged every bite, lick and taste and I ended up cutting over 5 days early. However, since cutting over, I've gone off program by 100 to 300 calories a couple of times. I am traveling to Dallas for my best friends wedding in a few days. I've already asked her to stock her fridge with ISOPURE for me when I land so I don't have to worry about it too much. I've lost close to 20 lbs already. My goal is to lose another 5 in Dallas.
