I just had my seminar w/ Dr.V. I am trying to find other patients to see what they thought about the whole process. I really liked him and was very impressed by his staff. I know that he is super booked up but you said that he was worth it?

I also think he is a bit more expensive than most...

Whoooo RAY! I finished today! My last payment will be next Wednesday! Then off to insurance.... I got cleared by both the nutritionist and the exercise specialist today. They both said I was doing really well. I am having Dr.Voellinger write me out for two weeks after surgery. I am a big baby when it comes to pain and I dont heal very well either. I am so happy for you for the progress!! How bad is the diet afterwards and before???

I am in NC Also. I have not gotten my band, however, I think that anything will help IF you give it a chance and have faith. You still have to work hard and eat right or it wont work. Maybe before, you didnt have the right fill amount? I wish you luck!

That is super Exciting! The Doc I am thinking about is SUPER STRICT and seems to be a stickler for diets.... I think he is going to try to torture me..... You may have only lost 2.5 lbs because you lost so much the week before. Sometimes your body decides to rebel... It is unfortunate but I bet it will be better next week!

It is so exciting to talk to another Fan!!! My husband thinks I am insane... How is your post-banding experience going?

Whhoooooo Hoooooo.... You are almost done!!! It sounds like you got a bit of work to do for the paper but that is ok. You will be fine!

It also sounds like you have a good bit of restriction going.... How many fills have you had??

Wow! Our stories are SOOOO similar! I lost 70 lbs with Weight Watchers and I slowly packed it all back on! I am also a newly wed and waiting for my surgery! Your pics look great!

Things are going well! I just finished up all of my testing and made my last payment today.... They said that it should go off to insurance in about a week or so. How are things with you?

Haha! I was reading your blog and I agree about the Barium! I have Crohn's and have had Barium swallow and it is the most God Awful stuff! I think it tastes like gummy bears and asprin....

lol.... No date yet, I just finished getting all the testing done. I have myCardiac clearance on Friday and then it goes to the Doc to sign off. They said that should take a week or so.

How are things going?

Why is it so long until your fill???? That seems like an eternity! I hope it gets better.... How are things otherwise? How much have you lost so far?
