Sept.3, 2009 At this time, I have done all testing and waiting for a response from insurance. My journey started in March, with a visit to my Orthopedic surgeon. I had been having pain in my left hip. I was told I needed total hip replacement, but was too heavy. The surgeon felt I was an excellent candidate for Lap-band.I had my orientation on April 6, 2009. My testing was started and finally finished the end of July. When approved I will have my lap-band done at OHSU Bariatric's. Sue Bergquist
