  1. I was banded on Feb. 18th and followed doctors orders exactly until last night. I ate cottage cheese for dinner but decided to suck on some fresh pineapple for some sweetness. I had cut up the pineapple for my families dinner. (it's a constant effort not to taste what I'm making) Well, I accidentally swallowed a chunk and I still feel uncomfortable, I believe the words are It's stuck. I've tried warm clear liquids all day, went for a walk with dogs, tums, resting, and am ready to stand on my head. Anybody with advice? Will it go away with time? Will it get worse? Anything I can take to get unclogged besides Draino (just kidding). Help!!
  2. Hi, I'm a teacher as well. Actually an art teacher and on my feet all the time. I had surgery on a Wed and went back to work the following Monday. I don't think I would have been ready any earlier, but it did force me to walk more than I would have at home. I had pain in my shoulder and side and took it easy Monday and Tuesday back. Good Luck.
  3. I live in PSL and had surgery 3 days ago with Dr. Larson. It's great to know others are out there.
  4. Today is the first time I've ever replied to anything online. It is so comforting to know others are out there. The shoulder has been a concern for me and is extremely painful. I feel like it was pulled out of the socket. My surgery was 3 days ago and I plan on going back to work in 2 days. It's nice to read about similar concerns.
  5. yes, I had surgery, 3 days ago and my left shoulder aches. My surgeon said this happens often and Tylenol should help. I had the liquid tylenol last night and I was able to sleep. I have percoset but don't want to get drugged up.
