  3. I suggest not tums but prilosec and liquids for a day. I am messed up too. I got stomach flu last week well infection in colon on antibiotics I feel like my band is tighter and about every time I eat getting pain 1hr later until I burp or drink Fluid push down or vomit. I might need call MD tomorrow

    need help

    I"ve had my band for 1yr I am not sure how much is in my band. I was unfilled a little a few months ago. Last week had some food poisoning and got pretty sick I was thinking my whole gut was inflamed and I was sick, I have vomited alot more then I have in a long while, I feel tighter feeling better but can't eat solids or even soup without pain of stuck in chest or in my back it is horrible. Any ideas???

    Burp

    THANKS not sure if i have time to get to time before then, just to much going on. But it is working on eating very little at one time. Good thing losing well, just reach under 200 for the first time in over 14years. I am so excited I couldn't stop smiling when stepped on the scale, it was wonderful, so excited.

    Burp

    I have lately can not stop burping after or while even trying to eat. I stop eating and barely get a few bits in and think because I just start burping it will come up. I haven't had fill in month but I think things have moved it is getting hard and hard to eat one very small meal. I almost consider 4 bits of whatever dinner, lunch or breakfast. It even happens with thick liquid like protein shakes. Any suggestion?? I see doc in 2weeks thinking getting little unfill to see if it helps.

    stuck again

    How often do you get food stuck? How long does take the food to pass or is easier just to vomit? I really like to know how others handle what seems to be a weekly drill for me. I get food stuck this the 2nd time this week. I try to vomit sometimes it comes up easy then all is ok, but just last night I was so stuck could not drink nor eat anything for 2hrs after that bit of food that got me stuck. I even feel it has carried on to today. I only had 4 bits of sold food today and pesto stuck again. I had this since last fill over 3months ago. I have hard time some days keeping my calorie intake where is it safe 1200-1600. I am losing and haven't been working out, hurt my back. Suggestion????

    Living with Too Tight Band

    I always drink water after a fill then have to do liquid for 4 days post a fill. if u are still barely getting liquids down go back:biggrin:

  10. ok so there and need advice about throwing up. I eat weird hours so the whole 3 meals a day is off for me. I can't eat breakfast bedside yogurt in the morning or i get stuck, no matter how small and chewed bites. I work nites so it is no matter when I wake up I just can't eat real food for aleast 2hrs after being awake. I feel better after throwing up is something gets stuck, but that can be so hard to take about 10-15 to get it up. I don't want unfil, it is weird, I have bad days and good days. It is not every day I get stuck but aleast once a week for sure. Who else has hard time throwing up when you know it needs to come up because if just isn't going down??????

    breakfast

    I am on my 4th fill and can't do breakfast. I do protein shakes and if I want to eat have to wait aleast 2hrs after being awake. And those day I try to eat even mush like oatmeal I struggle the whole day with eating and barely get my 1200 calories in. I really don't get it. Who else has hard time eating breakfast? I miss it sometimes what some healthy eggs or oatmeal. It blows. I also haven't seen any weight lose in 2 weeks. I bugs what is up with my body. I work out I eat healthy what is up?

    To Fill or not to Fill

    Weight lose is hard and losing slowly is healthy and good. Can you eat whatever u want or have problems with certain foods. I totally having hard time with healthy protein and only at 4cc. I think the key is eating less and working out. I got sick and having been able to work out. I see weight lose more the harder I workout. So my advice don't fill but talk doc first he knows best.

    You are not alone, you are doing it slowly, so am I. I am 14 lbs from being under 200 so can not wait to get on the scale and see 199 or less, I wish it was coming off faster but it is coming off. :smile2:
  14. oh my someone should have warned me, it is not nice but is passes or you throw up. But, it make you stop eating for sure, it happend tonight. To me it isn't just about chewing and small bites but sometimes about what I eat that just i don't seem i can do anymore.
  15. thanks everyone! I am eating slower more than just slip food like soup and yogurt, but small bites and chewing. Still hungry but PMS right now and always hungry more then:unsure: anyways.
