  1. Now that I am a week past my surgery, I am feeling more like my normal self. I am disappointed that the pounds are not dropping off as they did during my pre-surgery diet. I understand that I won't be able to fill for 8 weeks after surgery. Was that the typical recovery time for you and how many cc did they fill the first time?

  3. My journey began four days ago when I had the Realize Band put in. It was a bumpy road getting to the approval stage but after a year, I was approved and then things started moving fast. The two week liquid diet before surgery was not easy but I lost 15 pounds before surgery so that was nice. I am still in the recovery mode but every day is better. I was thinking I would be up running around 3 days later. :tt1: I am committed to making this lifestyle change and am excited to read all of the success stories on this website. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

  5. I had the Realize Band put in four days ago. I have to say your intial journal entry is exactly how I feel. I know I shouldn't feel like I am a failure because I couldn't do this on my own. My health was being affected by my lifestyle so I was ready for a change. It took me a year to get approved but I am now on my way to a new life. My twin had the lapband done last year and she has lost 90 pounds. I am excited for what is to come!!
