  2. Thank you Chole! I appreciate all the support from you and others on this board! I had my surgery on 8/10. I am getting around a lot better. For some reason just had a single incision about 2-3" on my belly. Guess its a new technique! I haven't been "stomach" hungry, but the head hungries are a biotch!! LOL I have stayed on the liqued diet eating sf pops and jello with no prob. Looking forward to mushies for sure! Thanks again for your support! Julie

  12. Hello all, I live in Bakersfield CA, my surgery is scheduled for Aug 10th. I have never been this heavy and started my descent into obesity after having a hyrecstomy, then depression followed (I was only 34). I have been on a downhill slide since then. Now I have developed ostearthritis in my knees and cant get around without pain. The dr said that losing weight will get me back on my feet again. I am self pay, and praying that this is the answer for me!
  13. I am laughing all the way to my title "winner"
  14. I guess I am just basically writing to myself since I dont believe anyone would be much interested in what I have to say. I am getting really anxious and happy now that I finally have a surgery day. Just praying that everything will go smoothly and mosly that its worth it!! I have heard so many people state that they aren't losing weight that its scaring me. What are they doing wrong? What can I do that's different so that I don't fall into the same trap? I am pinning all of my dreams and hopes on this surgery, wish me luck!!
