  1. wow this is intense. I'm so sorry you guys are going through all these problems. I have my surgery on the 3ed of March and I am def. aware of the problems that can happen. I hope everything go's ok with your surgeries. My prayers are with you!
  2. Hi there I couldn't find where to go to vote for the name?? I'm so excited I just found out today it's gonna be on the 3ed or 10th of March!!!! Yayayaya:thumbup: So thrilled, i've noticed people already have lost weight and they haven't been banded yet??? Is this b/c of the pre op diet? Can you tell me a little bit about the diet my surgeon is suposed to e-mail me the diet plan and wants me on it for 2 weeks prior to my surgery!!! Is it just liquids or what?? Any suggestions woudl be helpful! thanks

  4. Anyone getting there band in March??? I just found out today I'm getting it done either the 3rd or 10th of March and I am so excited I screamed for like 10 minutes:w00t: I switched from the gastric bypass to the band and he called he to tell me they could get me in the 24th of this month for the bypass And I said I wanted the band and i called 3 times last week and he was like oh ok well I can get you in either the 3ed or 10th of March!!!!!!!!!!!!! So thrilled and excited and nervous all at once ya know. OMG i cna't believe this is happening finally after over a year waiting. It's happening. I had to wait to so long b.c the Army moved us to texas and i had i start the process all over again when I got here. Anyone in the El paso area?? So excited. Does march bandsters have a name??? We need one!!!:w00t:
  5. Well Me and my husband have done it a few times this way and prolly 3 outta 5 times it was awesome!!!!! I really like anal, if I can relax enough for it to happen. If you can't relax then it hurts badly!!!!!! And feels like your pooping the biggest BM you've ever had!! lol But it's something to try if you with someone you really are comfortable with and can have fun with it. Ashley
  6. I agree with ya on this. I am 5ft and 217 right now im waiting on my band..I have no health problems other then being obese. And with my hight I am obese. I'm having the surgery to loose the weight and keep it off!!!!

  10. Hi everyone. I am currently on the waiting list for gastric bypass but I'm switching to the lap band. I have no medical problem beside being obese. I feel as though getting the gastric bypass would be more for my vanity then anything else. The lap band makes me feel more comfortable like it's going to help me control my eating. And I was wanting to hear from people who have had it. What is it like? Can you feel your port? Does it hurt when they fill the port every month or how ever often they fill it??? Can your husband fill your port? How much weight are people loosing? And how fast are you loosing it? Any complications people have suffered?? I know it's quite a few questions...but I need knowledge!! I'm 22yrs old 5ft and 217lbs. BMI of 42.2 Thanks so much Ashley
