from what i understand, there was alot of scar tissue from the band, he was unable to get behind it, so it is growing back, it is a real term neofundus, someone put the link on one of my posts...he said it just will keep getting bigger and bigger...the food collects there and you can get a bezoar...alot of reflux and had only lost 25lbs and now gained 15 back!...omg what a nightmare! it has been almost 3 yrs since origional sleeve was done...

thanks ladies...amanda, I dont know about eyes wide open, i have to have the hiatal hernia repair and an incisional hernia repair...the sleeve, welllllll, Im going in on a wing and a prayer....dont get me wrong, i want it to be right, just hoping it comes out right this time...

wow, im so glad you posted your story, thanks to a couple of other posters, they led me to you...I am being resleeved on aug 1st, and your the only other person I know who was resleeved...thanks so much, I was starting to feel like a real freak....I am also scared i wont succeed, I am doing it with the same surgeon, he said he didnt take enough because i had so much scar tissue from the band he was afraid of hurting me and i was one of his first sleeves, he has since done hundreds over 3 yrs and is doing it again for free...I pray to God he is is right...He has done many with success, I have seen the results...Thanks again for posting..I hope my story is as positive as yours!!!...

nope, dont mind, looks like im the only one, so let everyone know it can happen, It is called a neofundus you can look it up..part of the fundus, stretchy part of the stomach starts to grow back ugh....i have a pouch now and it holds alot of food...wt gain, and reflux is prob the most common symptoms....groan...wish i could find someone else who has had it so i could ask some questions....thanks for asking, makes me feel like someone is listening to me...LOL

Yup, I didnt either...LOL....not really funny, im miserable.....Neofundus, look it up....terrible reflux wt gain etc...ugh....

you can get a blood clot at any time surgery or not, but being dehydrated and not moving much, makes the chances higher, drink and walk, even around the inside of the house...usually the leg will swell and get red...good luck and i hope all is well...

I hope Im not the only one, but I have searched the forums and cant see any topic on a resleeve...Am I the only one who is or has been resleeved, if not please let me know, im starting to feel alone and kinda like a freak!!

what did the doctor say? you should really follow his food regulations so you dont get a leak...good luck!!

congratualtions, miangr, I am going in to be resleeved, so been there, but never had nausea, just exausted and depressed..really scared to go thru it for a 2nd time, but i have a neofundus....was origionally sleeved in nov. 2010...keep me posted, the first week is the hardest...shouldnt you be on clear liquids?

I am having my surgery on august 1st, feeling kinda scared and lonely, is anyone else being sleeved in aug?

I had the lapband for 3 yrs, I lost 100 lbs, however, after losing the wt, My band prolapsed, I didnt know what was wrong right away, I started throwing up, couldnt even keep water down, then I had a barium swallow and it showed I had a sever prolase and had to have emergency surgery...While I was waiting to go into surgery I started throwing up blood, It was very scary, I was in surgery 61/2 hrs, the doc said I had so much scar tissue....I am sleeved now and about to get resleeved on aug. 1st, I am terrified of getting a leak, but you can get a leak from the band too if it erodes..the one poster on here got it spot on...with the fills and unfills, too tight too loose, sliming, productive burping etc...I dont miss the band at all...good luck on whatever you decide....

I felt like I swallowed more air without the straw, so went to the straw almost immediatly and felt better...ask the doc and see what he says...

well there you go, its good for the skin..cant we all use dewy, creamy, glowing skin?...I just know there had to be something good about them...LOL....

yeah...thats monosodium glutomate right? it is on here...what do you mean our body doesnt digest it? its not a good protien?

they do have 8 grams of protien and the fat isnt as high as I thought...5gr.

I am snacking on pork rinds...is that ok? I know there are no carbs, it just doesnt seem like it could be healthy, although i see them used alot for recipes in cooking low carb.

I was given a hard time too...exact same words, "your crazy" dont do it..etc..even lost a friend, and almost had a nervous breakdown...hugs to you..do what you think is right for you...it will work out in the long run...

I drink the EAS Myoplex carb control chocolate fudge, you can get it at sams club. add Peanut butter, fruit, etc...

I drink it with the sleeve...some docs and nuts say its ok and some dont...not sure they know for sure...

same here, it is true the sqeaky wheel gets the oil...I would still be waiting.....
