  1. Me too! :thumbdown:The first time I discussed it with my doctor's office they said it was no big deal. I planning on talking with them again soon because it has continued. I get all of my Protein in too. Curious question... not even sure that it's related, but how much milk do you drink?
  2. I am on bp meds too. Maybe that's the problem!
  3. Not hungry is a much better way of putting it Jacqui! That's what I meant. I don't need the stuffed feeling... just don't want to have that hungry all the time feeling like I do. Take right now for instance. I just ate about an egg and a half (scrambled) with a little cheese and imitation crab meat about an hour ago. I'm already hungry... will the band ever help that go away where I feel hungry so quickly after eating?
  4. I was banded on April 7th and have had two fills. I'm now at 6.75 cc of a 10cc band and starting to have some problems with breads. Have you completely sworn off breads? Will I ever have that full feeling? I really don't feel full at all. liquids can seem to fill me up, but I'm following the rules and not drinking before, during, or after I eat. How many of you still feel full a lot, but just have problems with bread? That stuck feeling alone makes me want to stop eating. Any advice or experiences you have had would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Andrea
  5. I had it pretty bad for several weeks. It's still here, but not as bad. I talked to my doctor's office and they assured me it wasn't from my band. Did you lose quite a bit of weight on the pre-op surgery? I personally think the rapid weight loss for me was a huge part of it. Hope you feel better soon!
  6. I have the same pain. I had it a few weeks after surgery and it went away. Now I'm experiencing it 6 weeks post op. It happens when ever I bend over or twist certain ways. Bending over is super hard. I've been picking up my kids too and they are both little, but one weighs more then 24lbs.
  7. I'm experiencing this same thing. I have vertigo, but it normally goes away after a day or two. Just assumed it was my vertigo... now you've got me thinking. I haven't asked my doctor's office yet. Guess I should. Keep me posted on what you find out.
  8. Can someone please update me on here? I am currently 260.8. My band is not working at all! I can basically eat anything with minimal problems. I can't wait for my first fill! Right now losing 18 lbs. seems like a huge challenge!
  9. Can someone add me to please? I can't seem to get it to work. I'd like to lose 18lbs. I might change my mind the closer we get.
  10. Random question, but I was just wondering. It sounds really good! Just wanted to know if popcorn is possible. TIA!
  11. Not as dilated today, but still kinda fuzzy in my eyes and head. Hopefully that's a sign it's getting better! I appreciate everyone's help. It kind of scares me. I will have to look and see what the name of my patch was. I never filled the script for more.
  12. I also had the patch on until today. I took it off this afternoon.
  13. I forgot that I take Labetol too for high blood pressure. That and the Prevacid are the only things I took today. Now I haven't eaten much at all today and probably only 8 oz. of water. I have zero appetite and feel soooo full all the time.
  14. I was taking Reglan (sick) and Lortab (for pain). I haven't taken them since yesterda. I also took Prevacid this morning.
  15. I am experience blurred vision and my pupils will not shrink when in the light. It's now night time and I am 3 days post op. Have any of you experienced this? Or does anyone know what this might be associated with? Thanks! Andrea
  16. Thanks everybody! I was banded on Tuesday, April 7th. So I'm now 3 days post op.
  17. Just curious how many of you felt sick after your surgery. If you did how long did it take to go away. Food is replusive to me now. I'm barely getting any of my liquids in. Any advice? I've also go the gas pain in my stomach, but the sick feeling (like the flu) is the worst. Thanks, Andrea
  18. Our list is growing! YEAH!
  19. I love the Bunny Bandsters! You know what it makes me think of... sexy playboy bunnies. I want to be a hottie like that! Surgery is going to get me to that point Hubby will love that!
  20. I've got pre admission stuff tomorrow! I start the liquid diet in a week and a half. So exciting!
  21. Well I am getting banded on April 7th! Anyone else? I'm excited and nervous, but know that the future is going to be terrific! I've got nutrition class this Thursday, pre-surgery admission stuff on the 11th, and start the liquid diet for 2 weeks starting on the 19th. Time is going to fly! Does anyone remember where the post was about what to get/bring before the surgery? Andrea
  22. Well we've talked lots about it and I think he's starting to agree it would be a good thing. I'm trying to get him to do it with me now!
  23. Thanks for the advice! We just have to stop buying the stupid pop! ha ha ha I gave up caffeine for a year, I think I can do pop. So is Crystal Light the best stuff out there?
  24. I'm not sure when my surgery will be. Hopefully in May or June. I haven't been approved yet for surgery. So what should I do in preparation for the surgery? I love sugar, carbs, and pop. I tend to eat fast food too much. I'm not working out, but I'm planning to try to as soon as I'm 6 weeks postpartum from my c-section. Do you have any advice for me? I really really want to give up the pop. Any other helpful hints that helped you lose more quickly? TIA!
