Hello, I live 25 miles north of Lake City. I am in the middle of Grayling, Kalkaska, and Lake City. I would love to join a suopport group or start one up near me. I'll have to get my map out to see where Alpena is exactly. lol When are your suppor group Meetings?

Hello, My name is Mechille. I am in the early stages of becoming a lap band patient. I am still waiting on all of paperwork to get into my surgeons office. He is in Flint, which is 153 miles from me but, they are the only ones to take medicare and medicaid. I don't have my surgery date yet, but I hope it will be soon. So, while I wait, I thought I would get all of the information and good advice I could. So please, if you have anything to share with a newby, please let me know. Hello all, I am still in the stages of gathering all of the medical records and evaluations. You all are the closest to a support group that I could find, and I am glad that I found you all. I live in Lake City Mi, my surgeon is in Flint, MI. I am very excited about getting the lap band done, to start a new journey in my life. I want to live longer and be more full of life. Lets hold each other up when the down times come, I'll be here for any or all of you. Thank you for letting me share.
