my doctors office is in atlanta and he doesnt have any kind of support program at all.My wife talked to a lady here that says there is a group that meets.i have to find out when and where

has anyone started a local support group?i was banded in feb 2009 and need some help getting back on track.ive fallin off the wagon and need to get back on track

Ive been sitting here looking at veryones before and after pics and i really feel like im failing even with my band.i was banded feb 25,2009 and im only down 55 pounds if im lucky,the scale seems to go up and down just like it did before my band.its like im back on my yoyo diets.its real frustrating knowing im not eating anything like i used to and its just not coming off very fast at all.I see all these people that got their band the same time i id or even after and have lost a lot more weight than i can even think about losing.Im failing my band. I dont know what else to do.its been a long slow fight to get off what weight i have lost.but im still losing my battle just like i always have. The one good thing that i have been able to do is get my blood sugar under control. NOTHING TASTES BETTER THAN SKINNY:crying:

the surgery isnt bad at all.u will be sore a couple days then youll start getting back to normal. As far as your port showing ,mine doesnt but i can feel it better since ive lost a few pounds. The band isnt a quick fix, it takes time and what and how much you can eat changes from person to person and somw days you can eat things and the next you cant. I used Dr. Finley in Atlanta he was a pretty good surgeon.

i live in columbus georgia and got to atlanta to Dr.finley for my fills.My free ones are over and i just found out his charge is $300.00 and i have to pay $195.00 for the fluoro scope. I cant afford that.i need to find me a cheaper Doctor do take over my care and do my fills.Are their many doctors that will work behind another doctor and take his patient. I cant afford to spend $495.00 every time i get a fill:cursing:

My weight loss has stopped.ive been around 260 to 265 for a month or so and i cant seem to lose anything.its getting real discouraging.im still able to eat more than i think i should be able to.i hope my third fill at the end of the month helps.any ideas on what i need to do.

does anyone know the web site where u can put ur pic in and it will show a picture of what you might look like skinny?

im going on the 27th for my first fill. i asked my doc about how much he puts in at a time and he told me that he does it under fluro so he can see how much restriction you have.the way i understood him hes going to be pretty agressive with this fill,like i might get a pretty good one.the way he made it sound he was going to fill it till i had restriction since he was using the fluroscope. does this sound like any of your doctors?
