  1. Well I'm sorry to hear that your insurance will not cover it but CONGRATULATIONS on your surgery getting much closer! Post here any time you have questions and just to let everyone know how you're doing. :yikes:
  2. I think you've got the right idea -- accountability is going to be the motivator for me, too. Thanks for your thoughts. Have you been approved yet for surgery?
  3. I'm new to this sight and still feel relatively new to the LapBand. I was banded on August 5, 2008. Everything went really smoothly and I've still had no complications. I've had two adjustments and the last one seemed to be more effective than the first one...but I'm a little frustrated with myself. I've lost 33lbs so far -- that's 33lbs that I wouldn't have lost on my own! I was walking a good bit around the time of my surgery and picked it back up soon after, but once the time changed, it's pretty much non-existant. I know it's my fault that I'm not doing more with exercise but does anyone have any pointers on motivation tools!?
