  2. Aug 16th I am having my surgery. I cant wait! though here's my situation. I was planning on taking collage classes in Fall 2012. I now thinking just doing 1 online class or none at all. classes start two weeks post op. I basically just need my text book and laptop for course. I dunno. just looking how people were with returning to "office work"or school. thanks
  3. I had Keystone East. Everything went smoothly for me. Where are you having your surgery done? I had mine done @ penn in philly.
  4. were you selfpay, or covered under insurance? I lost my insurance coverage
  5. I flew in for a wedding at the Phx Country club on Saturday Evening. I learned one of the Bride's sisters has a lap band. The Bride married my cousin. I am wondering if you are on here? I was the one that looked lost at the buffet area, wondering if I would be able to keep anything down. The Mashed potato bar saved me. Thank you to whose idea was it.
  6. Update on Dan..... This pic was taken this past Sunday. He's doing awesome. Congrats to him.
  7. ....Tru Dat....
  8. Well... I have sagging skin esp around the waist. I am looking for a Dr. around the Philly Area. I hope to have this done over Summer 2010.
  9. I am down 75 pounds and I am now looking PS options. I am thinking next year, just to see where my weight ends up.
  10. From the people that know him (Dan), as of a couple weeks ago, He's down 198 pounds.
  11. Well, I need to find a fill doctor. I am loosing my WLS coverage due to a Company buy out. The new Co. has an exclusion cause for WLS Health Ins. SO I am SOL with Ins. Thanks In Limerick
  12. I could be better. The company I work for was bought out. The new company's Ins. doesn't cover WLS. So I am uneasy about the future and my doctor visits. I am really bummed about it. I don't like the unknown and not being covered. The new Ins takes effect Aug 1st. I am trying to get an adjustment in before with xray to see how things are going. just really sucks about the INS.
  13. The company I worked for had BCBS. I was covered, I had my Surgery 03/17/09.The company was bought out this month. The new Co.has Aetna POS II. They do not cover any Bariatric services . I just got off the phone with the Aetna Rep. It really depends on what your Company purchased in terms of Health Coverage. Call Aetna, your HR dept. and Docs office to find out.
  14. got my 2nd yesterday... up to 4.5 cc in my 10 now. I had a yogurt last night for dinner. This morning tried to eat a scrambled egg with some cheese. I felt like PBing. So I had another yogurt instead. I am on a pureed diet until saturday. I get a better idea how things are going as this week progresses.
  15. My 2nd fill is this Monday. I am looking forward to it. I hope it kicks start my weight loss again.
