I slept on my side after week 2 with LOTS of pillows lol, girl it hurt like m...... but it felt good because that is my comfort position. Try whichever feels comfortable for you.- Kaiser Richmond Pre-op

Tamra you are too funny LOL, girl no to both. Candra told you this is the time that you can drop big, I dropped 20lbs first three weeks. NO KFC, try and hold out or if you do very little, mashed potatoes and gravy are sliders so beware! Chicken and fish were y buddies for the longest and they need to be again.- Kaiser Richmond Pre-op
Hello All, Hope everyone is doing well. It's good to see you all online posting. I think I saw Donna few pages away :-), I have not been to meeting yet and I have pledged to come to the next one. Donna I hope to see you at my place. Heather you are welcome, i always enjoy our hangouts. It seems like Feb 6th is our hang out day. How is 4p.m. for everyone this way it can be a dinner. Since almost everyone is doing protein, this is what the menu is going to look like: -Baked chicken breast and thighs with Pesto sauce -Mixed Veggies -Salad -Baked red potatoes with onions and bell pepper -Eggplant stew and Tofu for the Vegetarians. How does this sound to everyone?? For those of you on liquids I can add soup to the menu (clam chowder?). I would love for all you guys to come and enjoy yourselves. You are welcome to bring anything that your heart desires. I make plenty food so don't worry. I am super excited! :thumbup:.- Kaiser Richmond Pre-op

6Th sounds good Tina, since you pioneered the date does the 6th work for everyone? I know we do need to have lunch. What is your schedule like for tuesday? There is a great Thai place on Bradshaw and I know they have Vegetarian menu. Let me know. Keep up with two day streak, it gets easier after the third day. I am going to start the 5 day test. I did the same thing as Jes. I used ready to eat clam chowder and blended in smoothly. Use you spirometer, it helps. When Liz said make it your friend it was true for me. I cramped when I ate applesauce so I gave it up quick.- Kaiser Richmond Pre-op
Candra, Thanks for the jeans. I will be in the Bay Area tomorrow so once again i won;t be at the meeting. I plan on making it in February for sure. However the get together is still on. Jes, I would love to see you, I haven't seen you or Candra since your surgery. I don't think there is a back log for Dr.Park. I just wanted it later so that I can drop some weight before going to see her. Tamra, its good to see that you are feeling better. Take it easy! Heather, Tina, Pam, Riley, Maria, Donna and all the Ladies and Gent are you guys going to come to the get-together? I gave two dates so please pick which one will be the most feasible and I suppose we will go with the majority date. I know we are all busy, I haven't met a lot of you and would like the opportunity to do so. If you have qualms don;t worry I don't bite , just kidding! CONGRATULATIONS TAMRA WELCOME TO BAND WORLD!!!! I am happy for you. I hope you are doing well. Hi ALL, I am sorry I missed the get together at Pam's place. I would like to take the opportunity to host a gathering at my place again if you guys will be receptive to it. I really miss all of you and would love to meet some of you. I have the first weekend of Feb (6th) or the (13th). Please let me know which one will work for you all. We can chat do movies and games I am opened to suggestions. The Lunch/Dinner will be on me. Hitting a plateau is a pain, I ate a lot and then drastically reduced calories and worked out to break my plateau pre op.Give carbs and see if it works. Monique- you look great lady! Thank you all for the welcome back wishes. I did ok today and yesterday. I am totally ignoring the scale for a few days. I made it to the gym which was nice and refreshing after a looonnngg hiatus. B- egg salad s- glazed doughnut (yes I know that's not on the menu) L- 2/3 cup ham I bag protein barbeque chips D- Lamb-1/2 cup corn meal cooked 2/3 cup Tomorrow's menu should look better. After my visit with Dr. fisher, I have not been able to pull myself out of this funk! However the good news is that I am ready to get back on track. I just hope I did not stretch my pouch. Hi Maria, I did tuna and very little mayo (keep a little bit of the brine from the tuna to mash up). I also mashed eggs and mayo. Honestly I couldn't do the puree but improvised to get as close to mush as possible. Chew the heck out of it. - Kaiser Richmond Pre-op
