The surgery gastric bypass 10/09, was one of the bet decisions I have ever made. At 5'1" I weighed 194 pounds and after many years of fighting weight gain, diet after diet, diet pills (including the awful phen-fen ), I decided this surgery was my only way to health. I am a retired gov't employee, now work as a home health aid, married with two daughters, 3 grandkids and 2 foster kids. I live to read, travel, shop, spend time with family and friends, walks. I need to lose about 12 pounds to get back where I need to be.
