Wow, Kyley. Thats' fantastic weight loss after only a week! I'm new to this site, hope to get approval for lap band in the next few days. I've pestered my doctor for over a month now to get me approved, and he's hemmed and hawed, asking 2x what I've done in the past to lose weight, then asked me again, like I hadn't already told him! Hi, my name is Katie. I'm 57 years old, married with 2 daughters and 2 grandkids, a boy and a girl. I don't necessarily think I'm really a low BMI, only to my insurance company who thinks I have to have a BMI of 40 AND a comorbidity. I think I have a BMI of btwn 37-38. I weight 190# and am only 5'1" tall. I have Group Health Insurance (Northwest Wa area) and also Regence Blue Shield thru my husband's employer. Are most of you self-pay? Any of you had surgery in Mexico, and are you happy with your results? How about those with insurance pay-any have either of my above two ins companies? Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you!
