  1. Man, oh man... I've lost about 5 lbs in the last 5 weeks. I'm only 7 out from surgery. I'm considering it a stall... and I'm super frustrated!

Nope, not a stall. You are losing. If you don't lose or gain for more than a week you are stalling. You already have a lower BMI totally normal for it to slow down...when I was banded at 180ish it took me 3 months to get to 170 and then another 6 get to 160. You just need to be patient. You are losing. At whatever rate it is better than gaining or stalling.

all I can say is.....get used to it. You'll have lots of weeks like that. As the others have said, just be patient and stick to your plan.

I have my own definition of a stall. It is more than 2 weeks without any loss whatsoever. but that is just me

  2. 2 weeks out from RNY, down 10 lbs since surgery, 70 to go!

  3. 100 lbs?!? WOW! awesome! I'm right around 43 pounds, still 55 pounds to go. hoping to get 160 by mid december which is when i meet my boyfriend's parents for the first time. lol.

  4. hit a wall, cuz i moved out and stopped workin out, but i started up again last week, and already down 3 more lbs. so, hopefully it keeps up. how about you?

  5. hit a total wall... i moved out, so i don't have baby sitting ALL the time now, so i just kinda stopped working out, but i'm up and at it again, hopefully 160 by Mid-December when i meet the boyfriend's parents for the first time.

  6. i did, thanks.

  7. oh you know. it's going. not as much gone as I'd like, but at least it's still going down, right? I wanna get to 180 by my birthday (8/30) but that's almost 17 pounds in a month, so I don't think that'll happen, but that's ok. You're lookin really good. Are you considering any surgery for loose skin? Or do you not even have that problem? lol

  8. I'm doing good, and you?

  9. WOW! 200 pounds? That's amazing! What did you do? How did you lose that much in a little over a year?

  10. you're looking awesome! Great job! how much more do you want to lose?

  11. SUCH an inspiration!

  12. i just dont get it. some of us kill ourselves, and it takes forever. and some just change their diets a little, and lose 100 pounds in a year. wth?

  13. thanks. down 25... but kinda getting discouraged. i was killin myself on the treadmill, and eating 1200 calories a day, and still only lost like 6 pounds this last month. now i've messed up my knee, and have been cheating a lot. it SUCKS! gotta get back on track!

  14. I just realized you're from Killeen.. I was born there.

  15. well, i'm in school. just on summer break. so, gotta find that job to make money and pass the time til school starts. so, where are all these pictures of you that people keep talking about?

  16. between jobs right now. lookin for a good bartending job.

  17. one month post op... down almost 20 pounds.

  18. because they apparently couldn't get in through the one at the top, so they had to use the belly button for the CO2

  19. i'm doing alright. down almost 20 pounds...

  20. lol. thank you. how much longer til you think you can get banded?

  21. wow! what have you been doing to see such great results so fast?

  22. nice. what do you do workin nights?

  23. :-) So how's your weight loss goin?

  24. thanks. they had to go in through my belly button to blow up my stomach with the CO2.. they had another incision, but apparently, they couldn't get in through that one.
