I use overnight pads, as well as laying a towel down when I sit or lay down at home. At work I bring an extra pair of undies just in case of an overflow. I usually put one pad almost on top of the other, that way I can coverage in the front and the back.

Congratulations ladies, you all had surgery on my BIRTHDAY.... I had my surgery on May 27th and my dr kept me overnight, I had gas pain on the left side where one incision was but as soon as I was able to get up and walked around it helped. By the 2nd to 3rd day the gas was basically gone. Wishing many blessings and success to each and everyone of you.

I weigh and measure my foods, my issue is when I drink, I have a tendency to gulp my drinks, usually it's too late i will drink too much and then my chest starts to hurt. I guess I am going to have to measure out my 2oz of fluids. I am on soft food right now. Any suggestions?

I had the realize band placed on May 27th and I am doing fine, my port site is a lil sensitive other than that I am fine. I feel like you, today I tried on pants that were too tight before and a shirt that i couldn't fit and it was loose, and my wedding rings are sliding off, I am going to have to buy ring guards until I get down to my goal weight and then get them sized. Gonnagetbanned I had surgery on May 27th and have lost 10 lbs on the pre-op diet and 18lbs after surgery.

Laurentayler: My insurance is Kanawha it is under the hospital I work for, They put in the request April 9th and I got the reply April 23rd so it has been 2 weeks. I see that every dr.'s office does things differently, I will get my surgery date on April 28th when I meet with the surgeon, and my EGD will be done on May 18th. The EGD is the last thing that I have to do, the only thing I am worried about is that the hospital has been laying off people and I don't want to one of those they lay off especially because I am so close to having my surgery done. I got my approval from the insurance co today, i will see the surgeon on the 28th and will get my lap banding date then. I am so excited. Where is everyone else on their journey?

I have tried the Stevia, and it does not give me any headaches or side effects. I will use this moderately. Thank you for your suggestions.
