  1. not long to the anniversary, cant believe the year has gone by so quickly. I want another 10 pounds off by the anniversary. The exercise bike will be my new BFF! Hi to all, how are you guys doing?
  2. Hi All, Its been a while since i posted, just updated the spreadsheet there. The weight has been very slow coming off but i am 40 pounds lighter than this time last year and i could easily have been 40 pounds heavier without the surgery. Every day is a food battle, I dont win every battle, but i am determined to win the war. Hope you are all health and happy... where did 9 months go? Any inspirational words out there? Love & Wishes, Care Bear
  3. Please update me: Current Weight: 315 Lost since surgery: 21 total lost: 28 Goal for July: 7 pounds
  4. i am down another couple of pounds, i am now 312 pounds, can you update me on the spreadsheet?
  5. i have been stagnant for so long, thankfully have started losing again, have drastically changed my diet. lost 3 pounds. current weight 315 hope this is the start of a dramatic loss!
  6. Thanks Georgia, I will keep at it and let you know how i get on. I hope your back is feeling better soon. :cool2:
  7. Hi Guys, Thanks for the support, I have started the walking/running. i found a place near work that is flatter, the hills at home were a little daunting. i havent managed much running yet, it is all walking for now, but i have my goal. I find my muscles are fine and my body is physically fine to run and/or walk, it is my lungs that cant cope with running. just a small run (few hundred yards) and i am puffing. is this normal in the beginning? Well done to all you 5k achievers, you are an inspiration. X
  8. Went to see the doc yesterday and no weight loss in the month. He told me that its quite normal, gave me another .5 fill. Apparently, he has had some patients who lost practically nothing in the first year, and lost all the weight in the second year. He keeps telling me it will happen. I have to believe him. its hard sometimes. whats everyone else eating at this stage? i wonder if i am eating too much. care bear.
  9. I have been thinking about starting an exercise regime since i had my band in december but havent done anything about it. I want to run, its who i want to be, i want to be that healthy person jogging in the park but i think when i read your posts, it is the fear of failure that has stopped me, also being a big girl, i am pretty worried about what people will think of me out running. having read what one of you said about how they should change the program from week 1 to 9 to level 1 to 9 has made me feel much better about starting, i dont have to do it in 9 weeks, i can just start off at week 1 and see how i go. so I am starting on Saturday, this gives me sunday to recover from my first attempt and to schedule next week. I am gonna do the ipod download tonight. any advice, tips etc. is welcome. the area i live in is quite hilly, has anyone been doing hills? thanks.
  10. Hi Guys, Sorry i havent posted in so long, have been travelling a lot and forgot to check in. I have lost another 8 pounds, so i am down to 318. Can you update for me? thanks
  11. It took me ages to figure it out too, u go to www.tickerfactory.com and go through the steps to make one, then you add it to your signature in your profile on this website. Mine isnt great, but it will do for now!
  12. went to the doc yesterday, am still the same weight :bananalama: he said that it was normal. I got a new fill and am feeling a bit of restriction for the first time... yay. My goal for february is to lose 7 pounds. restriction or no restriction, i am going to do it this month.
  13. Hi Rebecca, I am in a similar situation to you, eating too much, not feeling any restriction. I was very emotional after my first fill, realising that it wasnt working for me yet. i have another fill on feb 4th and i am looking forward to that. now when i start to feel sad and disappointed about how i havent lost much weight yet and not feeling restriction, i just say to myself 'i am in this for the long term, i will not be impatient, whether it takes no fills or 20 to find my sweet spot, i am going to get there'. I hope it helps to know you are not alone. Best Wishes, Care Bear
  14. Hi All, Sorry i am late to weigh in, was away with work. Sadly i didnt lose anything this week, but at least i didnt put anything on. I hurt my back at aqua aerobics, so its not helping things, but hope that my fill on feb 4th will help me get losing again. well done to all of you who lost this week. its so hard. care bear xxx
