  1. For some reason it seems like I am tighter in the morning. I can hardly eat anyting for breakfast and for lunch and dinner I can eat alright without everything getting stuck. Is anyone else expericing this problem and is it normal?
  2. Ok, I have had lap band for almost 6 months and I am at 7cc. Ok my thing is what in the world can I eat for breakfast? I cant eat eggs, they get stuck I cant eat bread I cant eat certain kinds of meat so what else is left beside oatmeal and grits? Oh yeah did I mention I hate oatmeal. I love cereal but its just like drinking while eating, you wont stay full long. HELP!!!!
  3. I hate soda but I had to drink some becasue That was the only way I could burp so I could get that CO2 gas out that they put in. It had no effect on me, I think lol
  4. I had surgery on Dec. 31 and the first two days were good, I was in no pain. But Now I have a lot of pain with the gas. It wont come out, I walk, im taking the gas x chewables and still nothing. When I take deep breaths I cant hardly breath. I cant even drink anything because it hurts so bad. What can I do?
  5. I had lapband surgery on Dec. 31 at 1pm and I am a little sore because of the gas but this is not really what I thought it was going to be. I thought I would be laid out on the couch in pain. Sometimes I think to myself did they even put anything in there, but I can tell that they did because when I drink something I feel a little restiction unless its just gas, lol!! But I feel really good and I hope many of u will have this same experience. Oh yeah did any of u get this watch looking thing on ur wrist that stops nausea?

  10. Hi I'm getting banded by Dr. Bagnato on Dec. 31 cant wait! Omg did any of you have to do sugar busters? If so, can you eat cold cereal, what kind if so? I love cereal and that is all I'm craving right now, lol!!!
  11. oh yeah maybe u can still try the ins. and can get your money back what you paid out of pocket.
  12. HEY I'm also under my dad's BCBS fed plan. I did not have to do a 6 month diet. The only thing I had to do was go to the consultation and have my DR. submited a form to BCBS and in six days they approved it. I wish you would have tried the ins. first it would have saved alot of money. But I have no idea about the pre- certification.
  13. oh no draw blood:thumbdown: I'm going to get over that one day, lol! But thanks for the info.
  14. I have a pre-op appt this thursday and I was wondering what do they actually do? Will they be doing blood work? I have no clue, this is my first time getting surgery.
  15. My Dr. put me on the sugar buster diet. I was wondering did anyone have to do this? What types of food did you eat? I know the list says lean meats veggies and fruit. Are you able to eat sugar free foods like sugar free jell-o and pudding? or even sugar free cookies, lol
