I have a terrible cold. It is very difficult to eat solid foods at this time. I seem to immediate "slime". Liquids are not a problem. I was banded 7 months ago. Before the cold, I had "normal" restriction. With the cold, my band seems tight. Anyone else have this problem?

  3. Hi, I got banded 7 months ago and just got a horrible cold. I seem to have no appetite and also if I go to eat I make so much mucous that I just can't eat. I do very well with liquids, but only two bites of solid food until I can no longer eat anymore. Anyone else experience difficulty in eating with a cold?
  4. Hi, I got banded in June. I have had 3 fills. The last fill really worked. I have only lost 15 lbs. but I can now only eat 2 bites. When I eat I tend to "slime". Everything I eat comes up, but I don't seem to lose weight. I am over 50. I am a little concerned about how little I eat. I do get hungry, but 2 bites of food and I am so miserable. Is anyone else experiencing this?
