There are several reasons I want to get banded, not banded yet. The biggest is my health. I have three kids and need to be around for them. ok, don't laugh, but I want to be able to see my (I'll keep it clean) "cootie" again. I want to fit into my old clothes again.

I know that my surgeon takes Medicaid. I acutally asked for a Jan appointment. 2 reasons. 1. Effective Jan 1 I will be double insured. I picked up insurance through my employer. 2. I can't miss any more work. I'm on a 90 day probation for attendence. I am going to a seminar with him on Wed. I will have a good number of questions for him. I would like to do it earlier, but he doesn't have the hours I would need to not miss work.

Hello, My name is Jennifer 27. Married to Brad 28. Have three kids. Alex 9, Nikolas 20 Months, and Aralyn 5 months. I have my consult with the surgeon in Jan. I was waiting for my insurance through my employer to kick in Jan 1 but I just found out that Medicaid will cover the surgery, so I might move up the date. Any help with how I would go about getting Medicaid to approve the surgery would be great! Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

How did you go about getting approved? I really want to get this done and i have a consult with the surgeon for January, but would like to move it closer if possible. I see yesterday was the day of your banding. Hope all is well.
