Hello from IL

Hello,

My name is Jennifer 27. Married to Brad 28. Have three kids. Alex 9, Nikolas 20 Months, and Aralyn 5 months. I have my consult with the surgeon in Jan. I was waiting for my insurance through my employer to kick in Jan 1 but I just found out that Medicaid will cover the surgery, so I might move up the date. Any help with how I would go about getting Medicaid to approve the surgery would be great! Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Hello from CA freska!

I went through my insurance Blue Shield so I am no help with going through medicaid unfortunately. I'm sure you will be able to find some resources here or someone who is familiar with that form of payment however.

Congrats on your decision for the lap-band!!
