Bariatric journey Multiple procedures Since 2012 Considering options

Everything posted by Ken S.

  1. Yup - looking into this and will let you know what I find as soon as possible.
  2. I'm referring to the version of the BariatricPal App, but the Android version could be useful too - thanks for that. For the BariatricPal version, you can go to Settings -> applications -> manage applications and then tap on BariatricPal, it should show you the version.
  3. No one has terminated you from BariatricPal. There is clearly a technical issue going on here, and we certainly want to get this resolved for you. What version of the app are you downloading and attempting to run?
  4. @Frustr8 What’s the exact error you’re receiving at the moment?
  5. @proudgrammy @proud grammy You need to log in to your "proudgrammy" account. You can do that by logging out of "proud grammy" and then logging in with the username "proudgrammy" and entering the password for that account. Can you try doing that and then post back here as "proudgrammy"?
  6. @proud grammy @proudgrammy You didn't change your username - you created a new account altogether. Your 'original' account has everything you're saying is missing - but your new account can't because it's a new account, completely different than your original account. Are you unable to login to the "proudgrammy" account?
  7. @proudgrammy It looks like your ISP has a problem. They returned an error on one of our e-mails "550 5.1.1 Invalid Mailbox". Our system then disabled your e-mails because - by design - if a mail server is saying that an address isn't valid and doesn't exist, it doesn't make sense to continue sending messages to it. I think your husband should have a word with your ISP...but you might not get very far. I've reenabled your e-mails so you should start seeing them again....for now.
  8. @Newme17 Excellent - thank you so very much for finding and reporting this bug! This is what will help us get the app experience to be as good as possible! P.S. How has the app been working for you in general? Thanks again!
  9. @proudgrammy It appears that at around 8:17AM PST on Feb 18th, you clicked on a list-unsubscribe button or spam button in one of the e-mail notifications that was sent to you. I've removed you from the suppression list again and you should be receiving notifications again shortly!
  10. Hey BariatricPal members, we’re finally ready to release the first beta version of our very own BariatricPal Mobile app for iOS! This new release is a complete rewrite of the mobile app from the ground up. In addition to the forums, we’ve also added native magazine support and user galleries to the new app. The ability to “Like” posts and other content has also been overhauled to support reactions in addition to simply liking content. While we have dedicated a tremendous amount of time into development and testing of the new BariatricPal app, we do expect there to be bugs and issues in this early release. We are hopeful that you are interested in helping us make the BariatricPal mobile app the absolute best in can possibly be. We welcome all of you to join and test the BariatricPal app and absolutely all feedback will be greatly appreciated. You’re welcome to post feedback, comments and suggestions directly to this topic, or e-mail us at app@BariatricPal.com. 11. Hi @MonkeyNurse - while we don't have a way to delete your previous before and after pictures, you can always upload new ones and select which pictures you'd like to be your default before and after picture. The default pictures you choose will be the ones that are displayed on your profile page. When you're at the My Surgery -> Photos page, you're able to upload new photos. Once you've uploaded your new photo(s) you can then hover over the one you'd like to be the default and select the "Make Default" checkmark on the bottom left of the image. Please let me know if this helps!

  13. Hi Tom! Yes indeed - she was added to the suppression list due to bounced e-mails because your e-mail provider was providing us with a 550 (undeliverable) code upon transmission. Generally speaking, this can be due to the e-mail server having issues and not be able to locate a mailbox, a full mailbox, or simply a generic code that a mail server sends out (instead of a detailed code). I've removed her from the suppression list again and she should start receiving e-mails as normal - I just sent a test message and it appears to have been successfully delivered.
  14. That simply allows you to remove and/or change your reaction. :)
  15. Is the little X that you describe like the one below, but with a heart instead?
  16. Hi there! It appears that you have a pretty complete profile - were you able to figure this out or do you still need assistance? If you do still need help, please let me know what you're having an issue with and we'll get it sorted out. Thanks and Happy New Year!
  17. @proudgrammy Your last post confused me and I don't understand what you're trying to tell us. Please let me know and thanks! Happy New Year!
  18. I Just checked the logs and you're receiving a ton of e-mails from us Please be sure to check your spam folder and make sure you're checking the correct e-mail address.
  19. Hi Tom, Looks like she ended up on the suppression list due to bounced messages. Just removed, let's see if she gets a notification here.
  20. Protein is good for you, and I like Mexico
  21. Sorry all, I was brushing up on my Chinese! Really though - I think we should have a good fix in place for this now. We'll monitor closely over the next few days and your reports/concerns are always welcome and very valuable, thank you!
