  1. Hey Wendy: Good for you too! I know that I thoroughly enjoy kissing my wife anywhere (and I mean anywhere!) my lips and tongue can reach. We are both uninhibited and the way we interact is mutual. I am grateful for my wife and all the intimacy we share. I regret that I offended some of you... but my wife and I both discovered, unexpectedly, a way to enhance our intimacy as a result of the bariatric surgery process. Just wanted to pass it along.
  2. Princess, One more thing... the magnesium citrate is sold over the counter at any drug store and comes in flavors like cherry, lemon, etc. I think that it is basically a laxative.
  3. Hi princess, The pre-op cleansing routine was a 10oz. bottle of citrate of magnesium at 3 pm, followed only by Clear liquids for the remainder of the day. Easy to drink (its not vile) and by the next day... completely empty and clean!!! This really opens up alot of possibilities for the adventurous couples. Have fun princess. Lets us know how hubby responds.
  4. My wife and I have noticed that when she follows the pre-surgical fasting and bowel cleansing routine that I used the night before being banded, she has been finding our anal to oral sequence much more enjoyable for her. I recommend that some of you ladies try it, especially those of you trying to "keep" your man. Your men will go CRAZY for you if you do this!
  5. I was banded November 3, 2008, and am approaching 1 month. I am feeling great. Started Pre-op diet at 342 lbs. At surgery I weighed 330 lbs. My current weight is 311 lbs, for a total weight loss of 31 lbs in two months. First fill will be December 13th. Goal is to break 300 lbs (299.99) by Jan 1, 2009.
  6. Does anyone know what happens if the band slips? Can you feel it? Thanks.
  7. Thanks gypsy girl. Upon reading some other posts I am very leary about mixing in mushy or soft foods. For example, I have been eating chicken Soup from a can. The noodles were so soft... I thought these can't hurt and tried a few just to see what would happen. It seemed as it didn't cause any harm. I didn't try too much though, just a couple. I tried a few very well chewed small bits of clam from some clam chowder I had. I did this during stage II full liquid diet, which my doctor said allowed creamed soups (strained). I hope this didn't do damage. It doesn't feel like it. Anyone have any ideas? By the way. My weights were: October 1: 344 lb November 3: 329 lb (surgery date) November 13: 319 lb Total weight loss: 25 lbs in 6 weeks.
  8. I was banded Monday, Nov. 3 - One week ago today. I am feeling great - no pain, no gas, no soreness. I began exercising on Saturday. Felt REALLY good. I have been eating creamed soups, apple sauce, yogurt, etc. - what my Doc calls phase II diet. I have felt no resistance from the band, nor have I had any negative reaction in any way. I even tried chili... and no problems! Actually, I have been wondering if the band is actually accomplishing anything at this point. All of the restrictions on the intake have been imposed by the Doc and/or by me! Anyone else feel similarly?
  9. I was banded Monday, November 3. Left the hospital on the 4th, and took two pain pills that day. I did not need any additional pain meds. I am self-employed and returned to my office on Wed., November 5th to work for 5 hours (1/2 day), and for 3 hours on Thurs. the 6th, and 6 hours on Friday the 7th. Going strong so far. I am down about 22 pounds total, and have lost nine since surgery.
