  1. Word. By the way, how do you resize pics? I've never figured it out (or if I have, I've forgotten).
  2. I personally want to get my tubes tied, but if I wasn't doing it through my own preference, I don't know if $1500-2000 would really be enough to make me willing to have surgery.
  3. Oy. Don't wanna and you can't make me.
  4. *sigh* Don't remind me. Hey, at least it isn't the same one that kept trying to talk me into upping her grade to a B ('cause she's on scholarship, dontcha know?) and then playing tic-tac-toe or hangman with her buddy in the FRONT ROW.
  5. I'm actually considering getting another brand, the Sandisk Sansa Clip, after looking on Amazon. It was really well-reviewed and costs just over $37 for a 1GB. I found a 2GB version of it on BestBuy.com, too. Plus, they play MP3, WMA, secure WMA, and Audible audio file formats, and has a built-in voice recorder and FM radio. It's about the height of a golf ball. Here's a picture of it: sansa clip.bmp
  6. You might want to ask your therapist about that, then, and make sure she knows that you weren't prescribed mood stabilizers to go with it. This is some of what I was able to find about antidepressants and bipolar (emphasis mine):
  7. If you don't mind me asking, why aren't you on lithium? That's proven to be fairly safe for pregnant woman.
  8. Not to mention that everything I've been able to find says that bipolar disorder should not be treated long-term with antidepressants (i.e., Prozac). And if they are used, they're supposed to be combined with mood stabilizers, not used by themselves.
  9. For Pete's sake! I just checked my email. Guess what I had? An email from one of my students, dated around 9 PM, asking me to email her the handouts because she lost them. The test is TOMORROW MORNING!
  10. Jodie, I for one don't doubt that you're bipolar. Everything else, maybe, but not that.
  11. Sorry if I intruded. I was just asking a simple question, which I thought you would be okay with since you are open about having bipolar.
  12. Neither am I. They're NASTY, with a horrid chemical flavor. But then again, I'm more sensitive to a lot of flavors than a lot of people are.

Nair is NASTY. My skin is sensitive enough that if I left it on long enough to do anything, it always burned me. I found one depillatory that worked without burning, but I can't find it anymore. I just use the Daisy 3 razors now. The fancier women's razors never work on me, for some reason. I think my hair is too coarse. And the good men's razors are usually too stiff and I cut myself. To be honest, what I really hate is the ingrown hairs. Those suck.

Yeah, if I don't shave, I get super paranoid about it. My chin/neck/jawline hair grows super fast. I wish the hair on my head grew that fast, actually! I think it grows faster than my brother's beard, to be honest. He can go a day or two between shaves and only be a little stubbly. I can't.
  15. Here you go!
  16. Hey Jodie, I've got a question for you about your bipolar disorder. Do you experience more depressed cycles or manic cycles?
  17. anonemouse replied to Wheetsin's topic in Rants & Raves
Well, one area that I got was my neck. I might get my jawline done for free, but I'm not sure if I'll get that done or another area. They do both underarms as one area, so I would guess that it would be the same for other spots like that, as well. I'll definitely post about it. The lady offered me a tube of desensitizer (said that some people find it more painful than others), but at $30+ for the tube, I decided to wait and see how painful it was.
  18. A bunch of us will have to take a group vacation to Australia and come see you and Jachut, I think.
  19. Oh no, I've slept today. It's just going to play hell with my sleep schedule, since I wound up sleeping until 1:30 this afternoon. I'm not going to be tired when I need to sleep tonight. Damned books. I went to bed at 2:00 this morning and read until I gave up and turned off the light at 7:15 or so.
  20. anonemouse replied to Wheetsin's topic in Rants & Raves
Okay, so I made the appointment for my first laser session for Monday at 2:00. At $750 for 5 sessions, it's a bit more expensive than I thought, but they've got a buy one area, get one area free deal going on now.
  21. Please remind me never to stay up until 7 AM again, please. It really screws with my sleep schedule, especially when I have to be up at 6:45 tomorrow morning.
  22. Two fat-yet-semi-flattened blind squirrells? :faint:
  23. Stop! I'm gonna go blind! :help: :heh:
