Im over here in the Inland Empire:welcome:.. I was banded on April 3rd of this year and so far so good... Im losing slow but it's all good as long as I dont gain anymore.. -34lbs so far..

:scared:lol Ok so I started a little early.. I am 28 and I have 3 children an 11-10 and a soon to be 2year old.. I have been married for 10 years but I have been with my hubby for almost 13 years..I was never really fat, even after I had my 2nd baby I managed to stay in size 13.. for me that wasnt big at all .. once I had my last baby I gained almost 65lbs!:faint: and thats what made me get the Band.. I am so glad I did it.. I am 2.5 months out and down a total of 31lbs:clap2:.. its hard for me because I have no time for myself.. now that my kids are on summer vacation all they want to do is eat!:hungry: :help: I'm always in the darn kitchen! anyway its nice to hear more about you all... Wow 70 lbs? that is great! actually its sooo sooo awsome! I wish I would be losing that fast..:clap2:

Hello everyone I had my 1st fill on May 3rd it was 1.6cc I started with 4cc in my VG band so I'm at 5.6cc.. well I need a fill again.. I'll be going in 2 weeks.. I notice I can eat way more and things are going down too easy. I hope I get a good fill that will work for more than 1 month.. have any of you reached "your sweet spot?" I have yet to experience that. When I first got my fill it was about 1 week before my TMO but I have PCOS so it is a never ending cycle..lol I'm not sure if you lose restriction while your on it or if you should get tighter? I haven't gained any weight since surgery but I'm still down only 24 lbs.. anyway good luck to you all Wendy

Hello Everyone, I was Banded on April 3rd and I have stopped losing.. I had my first fill 4 weeks after surgery (may 3rd) I had lost 19lbs since my fill I have only lost 4 lbs.. 4lbs in 3 weeks isn't much at all.. I was given 4cc during surgery and my fill was 1.6cc making it a total of 5.6cc in my VG band.. should I go in for another fill? I really want to lose faster but my husband thinks I should wait another month for a fill! (self pay) I am afraid that I'll gain weight. I don't understand because I think I have ok restriction, I dont know maybe I have to give my body time to catch up.. I actually had a chance to see the Inamed band and the swedish band.. also the one they use in france..lol my doctor had them all in his office in a display so that I could choose.. I chose the swedish band.. the thing that made me choose that was the quality of the band.. the Inamed band looked really cheap compared to the swedish band. The swedish band is softer and it contracts with your stomach but still provides the same restriction as the inamed band. I felt that I would obviously PB a few times so their would be less chance of it slipping..the Inamed band has too many sections.. between the band and the port the tubing has 2 sections.. what happends if you stretch or pull it somehow.. (the fluid would leak out) The swedish band is 1 whole piece.. no sections it connects to the port and thats it.. anyway My Dr. did tell me that both the bands work just as good but he gives each patient a choice of which band they'd like.. I am so glad that you asked that question. I had my first fill on saturday, I had my surgery done in T.J I also started out at 257 and have the 10cc band, However I had a fill of 4cc's while in surgery.. (I know it's not the norm) but I was fine.. I gained 3 lbs back so I know I needed a fill.. I went in and they gave me 1.6cc now that same day I went to a party and ate.. I had about 20 beans 1/2 oz of carne asada and 4 pieces of cucumbers with all the goodies on them..lol I thought that was to much for having just had the fill.. today I felt hungry most of the day I was eating every 2 to 3 hours! I don't eat much but I think it all ads up at the end of the day... we'll see.. surgery date.. April 3rd Started at 257lbs -19lbs the first 3 weeks today I weigh 241 5.6 cc's in my 10cc band

I put $20.00 and got a little over 5 gallons of gas.. the price went up again we are now paying $3.35 a gallon.. and I have a sequoia so it's so expensive..

Hey Tricia, I left you a comment the other day..lol I have been on this site more since I saw your post on the other site..lol I'm getting more familiar with it and to be honest I think I like it better..

I was invited to a group a while back and I denied the request becuause I was still just starting to get familiar with it.. I can't find it though.. I had browsed the members of the group and there were about 25 members.. I wonder if it was just someones site? anyway I felt weird about it at first but once I started finding many of my Jr.High and even Elementary school friends I was hooked..lol I was on classmates for 2 years only had contact with 3 people.. I have been on myspace for about 4 months and I have found like 10 of my old friends..
