  1. Definatly do the Monday option. I have had several fills and I am just fine right after. No big deal. But on a Friday, if you have problems then you are in trouble. Yes, choose the Monday.
  2. Sounds a little tight, but if you can get in your nutrients and plenty of water you may be okay. When you lose some more weight, your band will probably lossen up some. Mine does. If you lose a few more pounds and it lossens you will be at the right spot. I do not know what that magic number of lost poundage would be. I'm positive that it would be different for everyone. If it does not loosen any and you are miserable, then go get a little taken out.
  3. You just might need a little more of a fill. Since you can eat and gulp, a little more fill would probably help you. Good Luck. Remember to sip and and take small bites slowly.
  4. Hey thanks for posting the chart. I needed a good look at that. I found myslelf to tight about 3 weeks ago and finally decided to go and have some taken out. I felt much better and could drink plenty of Water, yea!!! But now I can see myself in the yellow zone. I am a lot hungrier and eat way to much at one setting. This has me terribly concerned. But I am a little embaressed to go back to the doctor because i was just there a couple of weeks ago getting some taken out, now do I go back and get some put back in? I feel like a druggie chasing that perfect sweet spot. I had it once after my third fill but it has been long gone, kind of like a druggie chasing that frist high they often speak of, lol.....but not really funny
  5. Yes, it is possible. I know of someone who made it to goal and did not have one single fill. It is kind of hard to belive. But it is true and can be done! Good luck to you and if you do find yourself at the point were you need a fill, by all means....get it and continue to use your band as your tool. lucy
  6. Well, I am doing really good, feeling good and been told that I'm looking good also:tongue2:. Yes, I did beat my husband in the weight loss challenge!!! I got below 200 before he did, although he really did not try. I know if he would have tried he could have beat me, but he loves his junk food too much. Plus, I think he wanted me to win, thank you dear. I now weigh 196 and feel soooo good. I feel good physcially and mentally. I did try the pills from my MIL for about one week and I hated the way they made me feel. They made me feel...well, NOTHING! And I did not like that feeling. I love to play and loving on my kids and feeling alive. I have been going through my closet and cleaning out alot of my fat clothes. I can now wear an XL, how exciting is that. I used to wear a 2XL, so yeah it feels good. My principal told me the other day that I was looking good and I said "I know!" So, things are going really good and I'm very happy.

  8. Hey there, glad you are doing so well. Sounds like you have your energy back, that's great isn't it? Keep up the good work :tt2:
  9. I think your fine. I could eat that much with my 2nd fill. It was not till my 3rd fill that I really felt restriction. My 3rd fill was my sweet spot, it lasted from Oct till Jan 1st. My 4th fill did not do much at all so went back at the end of Jan for my 5th fill and I am back at restriction. You will know it when it happens, or at least it did for me and I hope it does for you also. So I agree with Kat, slow down. Don't get so worked up, your fine and you will get there. Good luck
  10. OMG!! I am right there with you. Tonight as matter of fact. I am in so much pain. I have been on the toliet about 3 times and in so much pain. I have run a hot bath twice to lay in after getting up from the pushing. Right now I am in my recliner with a heating pad on my belly. I have taken 5 stool stofners. I have to get some releif. This is so not fun. I am going to go back to taking 2 stool softners every night. I have been in this situation before and swore I would never let it happen again, but her I am again....UGH!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Well, that was very nice of you to come back and post that. Congrats on the weight loss.
  12. Mom of a 2 year old and 4 year old High School Teacher Blessed with a wonderful husband
  13. Well, do you think it is negativity because she does not want you to get the band? Or maybe she is nervous and scared about her little girl going through such a serious procedure? Or, is that just her personalitly? It's obvious that she cares about you, or she would not want to go.
  14. Well, I pass gas first thing in the morning, not bad. I would consider it normal.
  15. Hey Greg, I would not hesitate about Dr. Luttrell. He is great and so is his staff. Best of luck to you. You can PM me if you want too. lucy
