My struggle lately has been getting back to my routine after my hysterectomy and dealing with lingering issues like constipation and fatigue. I’m also on Zepbound, which I think has contributed to some of the discomfort. It’s hard to want to do anything other than just sleep, eat, and try to relax. It’s been frustrating at times. I can tell you this...when I feel like I can't deal with my feelings anymore, or when I feel like giving up on my goals, I try to remind myself why I started this journey. Sometimes I need a mental reset or just a small positive action that gets me back on track. It is so easy to get lost in our current situation...and for me, that makes things worse. When I feel myself slipping, I also reach out to friends and family members who support me. Knowing that someone truly understands or listens helps. I also try to focus on what I’m grateful for each day. It helps shift my mindset, especially when emotional triggers around food come up. I hope this helps even a little bit. You're doing something incredibly difficult, and the fact that you're facing these feelings head-on is inspiring. Be kind to yourself.
