  1. Three fills is nothing... I've had around 20 since Nov. 08. As you lose weight, you lose fat around your stomach too.
  2. Never in a million years. Thats why my doctor got paid the big bucks and their nurses went to training. I now work for my doctor and I have seen the results of patients doing their own fills. Too tight ~ part of their stomach's had to be cut out because it had died from the band being to tight.
  3. If your band is stretched, go in for a fluoro and have them check. At my office they would take all the fluid out for a few weeks and hope that it goes back to normal. Not a big deal... keep your chin up... And good luck.
  4. I so would have had a hard time not saying something back. I used to sit back and not say a word. My weightloss has given me back my self-esteem and then some. I too was 5'2" and 273. I started gaining weight when I was about 21 or 22 and it didn't stop until I got my band.
  5. Best thing to do is keep a food journal. Then look at your liquid cals. Mosy people need to eat around 900-1100 to keep the weigh comign off. Good luck... I feel your pain. I've been stuck at the same weight for four months now. I had to step up the walking and lower me cals to make it work again.
  6. Wow- Our cash patients pay $16,300.00. And we only bill a tad bit for to insurance... Someones trying to milk the insurance companies...
  7. Drink something warm. It will loosen up the muscle.
  8. I started wearing a 26/28 tops and 24 bottoms. Today I'm in 14/16 tops and 16-misses department pants. The last time I shopped in Misses was over 20 years ago. It's feels great.
  9. I'm at 196. Where can we see the spreadsheet at?
  10. my update is 198. Thanks Julie
  11. That is so great. I love my band... I don't know what I would do without it. It has helped me get back to being me again.
  12. Did they pay 100% of it? Northwest weight loss surgery does Medicare paitents out of Evergreen, but they still have to pay $8300.00 to the Dr. I was lucky- I had Aetna at the time and I only had to pay $880.00 OOP
  13. I'm in Monroe~ Where did you all get your bands?
  14. Can I get mine updated to 209. Thanks, Julie
  15. Pleas update my weight- I'm 215... Thanks, Julie
