  1. hello, this is my first post here ... please excuse the nerves ! mrswal, i was banded on september 8 and although it was a very cautious process, my partner and i had 'relations' :thumbup: just over a week later. i guess it would be a case of try it and see ... everyone will be different but trial end error is the key ! My port is up against my sternum so the port doesn't get in the way of my jeans waist but if i bend over without thinking there is a bit of pain. As for feeling the port all the time ... mine is still covered with dressings and is still a little tender but if i apply a little pressure i can sorta feel it - the band i don't feel at all. Phew, that wasn't so bad after all ! take care everyone ! Jo
