  1. I was banded on Sept 11th. Saturday was by far my worst pain day. By mid afternoon I had read so many great responses on this website that I decided to walk, walk, walk. I forced myself to get up off the couch every hour and walk around the inside of the house. When I woke up Sunday morning, I felt so much better. Got dressed, went to church, went to the movies with a bunch of girls and basically just moved all day long. I went back to work today (I have a desk job) and I feel great! I really think the key to all of the pain is to move around as much as you can. And last night I slept on my stomach with no trouble at all. I hope you are feeling better. If you dont get better after walking, I would consider calling the doc.
  2. I had my surgery this past Thursday, Sept 11th. I have a desk job and plan to go back on Tuesday. However, I dont know that any of my clothes will fit over my bloated belly especially where the port has been placed.
  3. I had my surgery Sept 11th. I feel that I am doing fairly well but I do have some questions. My left shoulder really hurts and I have been taking the Gas-X strips. I was told that it was from the trapped gas. Any tips? Also, I am not sure if I should be resting so the sutures can heal or if I should be up walking around and not resting. Please help!
