Missing Fluid from the band can be cause for a leak. Does your doctor pull the fill out to see what is left. Have you experienced missing fluid? My next appointment for a fill will be under flouro as well, since I have small amounts of fill missing and can eat a great deal of food at a sitting. However, my overall food consumption is much less than before the band.:confused:

I am not a big fan of more government rules, policies, and laws. Government is already Big, but in this matter, I am all for it. I never want to hear a story like this in the future and if government can create a policy to help diminish the chanes of this occuring again, then bring on the Law and consequences that go with it! These babies deserve so much more!

I actually stated does it matter whether or not the story is true, especially in-light of the fact we know drug war crimes are occurring in the area, which generated the State Department to issue a travel warning in this region. The importance of the story is not the reason for travelling to Mexico, but to be aware of the issues occurring for your own personal safety. There is nothing for the OP to defend. Would it make everyone feel better if she posted her pictures of her bruised and battered face? Would that add more credence to her story? Why should her statement be of any consequence to us other than to be careful when traveling abroad?

What does it really matter if the poster changed her name and never logged back on? We should all take the information shared on LBT with a grain of salt anyway. Take the information for what it is. Who knows if the story is true. Does it really matter? We all should be very aware of the global issues occurring. Whether the OP's particular story is true, we shall never know, but we do know that drug war crimes are escalating in this region, so people considering going over to this area should be aware.

Oh get real! There is no troll here. You have to be living under a rock to not know that there are serious drug war crime issues happening on the U.S. Mexico border, which by the way is spilling over into San Diego County. Crazy as it might sound, but true. Do a Google search. Check out NPR.org. Educate yourself. There is also a travel advisory for this region as well. Whether your going for WLS surgery or just wanting to go on vacation to Mexico, be aware that there is extreme drug war turf fights going on on the Mexico border. OMG, this is so true! Many of us had to complete so many requirements before we qualified for the Band. Yet, octo-mom did what to qualify, just paid cash and the rest is history.

Aprillg, your situation sounds very normal to me. Not everyone experiences nausea, vomiting or Bps. It usually takes several fills to hit the sweet spot and lose weight consistently. I am almost 4-months out, have not had heartburn, have never been stuck, have not vomited, and have never had the famous bps. I have not reached my sweet spot, but have experienced enough restriction to lose 40 pounds so far. Give it time, you will get there.

Great response Kat. One can only hope that these babies will be taking care of properly, but with octo-mom deciding t..v show over free nursing care one has too wonder. Now, I just don't understand why Pattygreen and her big ole' church family don't rent a bus, head it over to California, and collect octo-mom and her brood. Afterall, Pattygreen did state that her and her husband will take the whole octo-clan in. I personally, will feel so much better knowing that Pattygreen and her big ole' church family will be helping out and taking care of all these kids.

Hey Lulu, I read that on the thread too that Gloria contacted CPS, but I really don't know if that is true. Other than someone out there did make a contact to CPS, which created an investigation. I know that is true. I might not sure what is going on with the California Medical Board and their investigation with the fertility doctor. I have not heard much about him.

Melissa, I am so sorry that this happened to you and your husband. Your story is terrifying. I keep hearing stories on NPR of the drug war fights happening in Mexico and along the U.S. Border. This is just scary. I am so glad you are alive to share the information with us.

Hey congrats, your big day is tomorrow. Yahoo, everything that you worked so hard to complete has now come to fruition with your surgery tomorrow. Stay away from the phone. Unplug it as a matter of fact. You need "Me" time. Yep, that's right, you need permission to be by yourself and mentally wrap your head around your surgery. What your going through is normal. We all have fears and concerns of the unknown. Every surgery and procedure is different, so I won't bother telling you my story. But I will tell you that what your feeling right at this moment is very normal. and many of us have gone through it. Give yourself a break today; wait that sounds like a t.v. commercial. Allow yourself relaxation time to night as you prepare for tomorrow and begin your journey. Remember why you want to do this. Give yourself a chance at having a healthy life begining with tomorrow's surgery. Good luck!

Intersting. Nothing like my own personal vibration therapy I do out my house, but none-the-less interesting.

As far as the vitamins. Talk to your doctor to find out what he/she wants you to take. I was and still am required to take a two multi-chewable vitamins and two calcium chews. Plus, I take a whole lot of other vitamins that I won't get into here. But your doctor will know what is best for you. I am glad to hear your recovery is going well. Congrats!
