  1. Its not just you I have been trying to get on for days now
  2. Hi i will start off by saying I was 497lbs and am down 203 lbs :blushing: in 19months. I went in to weigh in and saw one of the doctors who didnt even req me well when he was told who i was he started to jump up and down and was all happy and watery eyed. He said i made his work so worth what he does, he also said he was gonna go back to the other doc's that he consulted w/prior to my banding who told him it would not work and tell them to KISS his A$$ lol. So i would not listen its posable and i am proof and i have proven so many wrong :couch2: Good Luck to ya hunn
  3. Ok I too have had this issue this issue, but the crazy part is my last fill was a year ago aug 2009 i have lost 2003 since being banded well since my last fill i would say a good 140 of that. Well with in the last 3 weeks i too have been waking up vomiting and the only time i have acit reflux is if i eat sweets. Well i also have gotten so tight that if i eat solid food it comes right back up. Note: there is no pain at all. I am worried but doc said if i dont have pain and can eat some foods in slow pace and can drink shakes he is not worried. I am setting up a EGD this week just to make sure but I am also gonna do a unfil just for lil bit. I am scared too though how bout you all???
  4. Hi i have a delema, a week before my period i am so tight i sometimes cant even keep food down, and it last up to 3 days after my period. I dont know what to do. Anyone else dealing with this. Help i can you use any suggestions all but getting an unfill. I have lost 200 lbs in 19months and have 80 more to go. I just feel bad that i dont eat during this time.
  5. Hi I read your post and I wanted to tell you, I thought I had slipped my band so I went to the doctor today. Thank goodness I have not but the Doc said that if it was a slip these are the symptoms, heartburn, reflux, vomiting, and painful pain in your chest and not being able to keep alot of things down. I dont want to scare you but I would just go to the Doctor!!!!!
  6. Oh Thank you so much:lol: I'm only half way there. I so hope you are right. Called my doc's office a bit ago and they assured me of what symptoms would be if it was bad....like a slip> constant Vomiting (not PBing) nausiated, pain (bad pain) they told me its just a new feeling so i am worried. what do you all think
  7. HI all, Let me get right off to the point. I was banded on 10/27/2008 I am down 116 lbs as of 06/29/2009. My last fill was in March I have a 15cc band and I am at 6.5cc right now. I have had great restriction but was having issues on learing how to eat right, it was either to Fast or at times a bit to much. Well I was getting use to PBing at least everyday (big sigh) Well I finally made the transition a few days ago to where now I never eat more then a cup of food and I pick at it and eat s l o w  Well now I am freaking out because I have no indication of restriction because I am not pbing but I can say I do not get hungry for a long time and the small amounts I am eating do satisfy me. Now there is another thing I have som pain on my side and in my belly area but not no where up towards my upper chest. I have been having alot of gas the last couple of days and have been told by many that could most deffinetly be that issue with the side and tummy pain. I dont know what to do. I am afraid I have done something wrong. How would I know if I am ok. What does a slip feel like if I have one. Am I over reacting. help direct me. I called my doc and nurse says I am fine. What do I do help!!!:cursing:
  8. Well I have aetna and I can only tell you the hoops I had to jump through to get my band. (note: My bmi was well over 50 and the doctors scales would not get my wieght because they only go up to 350 or something so no documentation all just guessing) Well I pulled my charts from my 2 last pcp and then i did a sleep study which showed i have a slight case of sleep apnea, I also had high blood pressure and asthma,I went to see a cardioligist and did a series of tests, blood work, chest x-ray, ekg, physical, phsyc eval, nutrional eval and monitoring for 3 months with supervised diet and excersise, and then the eval from my WLS and that was it I started the whole thing on the 27th of july 2008 and was banded 3 months to the date on 10/27/08 I never even really had any issues I just did all the test the WLS told me to do and they did the rest. I do know that my WLS did spice up the eval he submitted to Aetna. Once submitted it took less then a week to get my responce. I dont know if all that info will help but that is what I had to do  Have a great day and GOOD LUCK
