  1. Oh no....when I moved there I LOVED the rain....would go for walks in it...sit outside and watch it. I just hate it there lol. A lot of the people (one's you run into at stores and what not) have no sense of humor. Barely anyone knows how to drive in the rain, snow, or even sunshine lol. It's beautiful there though!
  2. It was a mix of things...the rain, the people, being so far from "home" and the post...I used to love the rain before I moved there.
  3. I'm in my third month and still no unfill or tightening yet. I go in to see my regular OB on Tuesday and am still waiting on the referal for the high risk OB to go through...we'll see
  4. LOL! My weight seems like it has already shifted forward...it's weird...fingers crossed. I have also lost some weight. I started at about 204 and I'm at 193 now
  5. I understand. With my first pregnancy I gained a total of about 45 pounds lol...my son was born at 2 pounds 4 ounces lol...I went what the heck!!!?? lol This time so far I have actually lost weight...I started at around 204 and I'm at 193 as of today
  6. I am doing okay. I missed 2 shots and started feeling better, but as soon as I started them again I was back to feeling dizzy...I'm going to ask the doctor about it. I did find an OB here and have my first appointment on Thursday at 3pm . When did everyone start showing? I'm almost 8 weeks and I look preggo lol.
  7. The move went okay. I didn't do anything, really. We had to stay at a hotel on the way to Cali because I was hurting and not feeling well. Hopefully I will be able to get a great OB soon down here. I may go to the Urgent Care or ER tomorrow since I am still feeling pretty sick. Now I am having a lot of tightness in my chest with coughing! Grrr...
  8. So far I've had quite a bit of "morning sickness", but no vomiting! It's horrible though...plus I'm sick! Grrrr
  9. No problem! When ever I have a salad (not very often) I go for the crunchy parts lol. The romaine hearts and spines of the lettuce!
  10. I'm a little over 7 weeks now. Still no unfill. I went from about 210 to 199.6 :crying: since my fill a few weeks ago. Don't worry about that 5 pounds...I mean you do have a baby growin in you You just have to make sure you keep your gaining under control and eat healthy :frown: Good luck!!!
  11. Thank you so much. We leave tomorrow for our trip to Cali from Wa so hopefully it will go smoothly. *fingers crossed*.
  12. Oh the tax payers are footin some of the cost too...thank goodness I'm not a Cali resident anymore lol. *On a more exciting note I saw our babies heartbeat the other day...111 beats per minute!!! Fingers crossed for a girl, but I'll take a healthy boy too
  13. I just wanted to add something that not too many people know. Spinach actually offers very little nutritian raw! The vitamins and what not in Spinach are released when it is cooked...so really salads aren't that good for you...I thought that was pretty interesting so I thought I'd share it
  14. In my world...seagulls wouldn't have voice boxes and Crows would sleep in on the weekends! lol. I enjoy hearing both sides of this arguement...sometimes it pisses me off, but a lot of times it just makes me laugh :smile2:
  15. So last night around 9-10 I started getting really dizzy (worse when I was laying down). I went to Tacoma General Emergency thinking maybe my blood had gotten too thin or something. They started with my blood pressure (which a few times dropped to 99/60) and they were watching my pulse (120-135) They ran some tests (CBC, HCG levels, Urinalisis). My HCG level cam back at almost 13,000. My urine showed a UTI. They pumped me full of fluids and gave me antibiotics and antinausea meds. They sent me home around 5 am. Around 10 am I got up to pee...I now had a brown discharge (TMI I know...kinda like old period blood) and bad lower back pain. They decided to do an ultrasound and a pelvic exam. So The ultrasound took quite a while and the tech said ok I'll be right back...here watch this, 111. I was like what! lol So she turned the monitor towards me and on it was a looped video of my baby's heartbeat (for the first time) and it was beating at 111 beats per minute! All I could do was smile. I got back to my room and the doctor came in to do the pelvic. He said baby looks good and there is no blood or anything around the baby. So he did the pelvic and took some swabs of the discharge and told me we would know if there was an infection in a few days...he said he didn't think so because there wasn't pain in the area, just the back. So I am home. I am not allowed to do any physical activity or sex...lol. So I am in bed relaxing under a nice fan...drinkin ice water :smile2: It felt so so good to see a heartbeat! Anyways, I just wanted to update you all
  16. This is the rants and rave section and we are adults...I think we can all handle some potty language....come on now...can't we all just grow up and get along  Oh no you said the A word....I'M TELLING!!!!!!! lol
  17. ok...a few things... 1. I went and bought some alcohol swabs with Benzocaine that are making these shots so much easier!!! 2. Everytime we get this thread to calm down a little someone else comes in and rattles the chains! lol 3....Love you Beth  lol All of you rock...even those of you I don't sgree with :skep:
  18. ...you mean they aren't real..... lol
  19. Thank you so much. Yeah I hate the hospital up here and cannot wait to move! Good luck to you!!! I hope everything gets better for you. I know how heart breaking it can be! Everytime I feel a cramp or a pain in my back I start thinking oh God it's happening again...fingers crossed. I am doing everything I can so if anything does happen I know it is not my fault.
  20. Lol...dang it...I was really hopin to pick up a new habit . I went to the drug store last night and bought a box of alcohol swabs with Benzocaine! It was awesome! I didn't even feel the shot...I did feel the burn of the meds a little later though.
  21. I tried the ice...didn't help too much so today I went to my local drugs store and bought alcohol swabs with Benzocaine in them and it worked AWESOMELY!
  22. I have 2 disorders which cause me to over clot. They say that's what cause the placental abruption with my son. They are hoping the shots will help me carry the baby longer and safer and prevent another abruption. I was more comfortable having seen the baby, but it would have made me feel better to see a heartbeat. Hopefully next time . We're moving to California on the first and then I will be going to a competent OB! lol
  23. I made my mom (she's visiting from CA) do my first shot last night...omg it hurt so much. I am a big baby with needles, but it hurt. I cannot believe I have to do this for 9 or more months (may have to continue a little after baby). The Lovenox are in prefilled syringes so I gon't really have any extra needles, but as long as I have my mom I think I will be okay ...just in pain :tongue2:
