Oh and my DVR is loading with good things to watch during down times.
  3. Hows everyone doing getting prepared for the big day? I went shopping the other day and bought some things for post op. My Doc was nice enough to give me a list of things I may need. I must say it sinks in real fast when your buying all that stuff. I still feel unprepared but thank god I have a Lap Band buddy here in town who was banded in Nov. so she helps me a lot. So again, hows it going getting ready?
  4. Triwest was easy here! It took me about 3 weeks to go throught the process. Would of been less if my Dr. wasnt so booked. I delayed surgery due to work but everything was so dang easy. Good luck!
  5. I am 5'4". That is crazy we do have a lot in common! Its so crazy that in a month we will be banded. What kind of pre-op diet are you on?
  6. I start pre-op on December 22nd so not Xmas goodies for me. I go in on Monday the 5th for the surgery. I cant wait for them to start up a section for 2009!
  7. I just went and looked at your pictures. You are hot! Wow, screw my advice of taking care of your looks, you already have that down!
  8. I know its already been said but confidence makes a huge difference! After loosing all that weight I am sure you are beaming with confidence too. I also notice that if you dress nice and show that you care about your body, that really gets a guy going. Yes I am married but my husband still has a wondering eye. He will check out a plus size girl especially if they show confidence in their walk. As bigger girls I know we can get overlooked easier by some men. That is why its important to take the extra effort to look good! Also congrats on all your weight loss!
  9. I plan on getting a line from a song. Don Henley- Boys of Summer: "Don't look back, you can never look back" I also plan on getting both my feet done but thats not for my surgery, just me!
  10. I have surgery in exactly 1 month! OMG thats so weird to say!
  11. yes I met him and he was very informative! I purposely delayed my surgery date because of work. It seems so far away but then i count the days and I get super excited! I hope today with the surgeon went well!
  12. Congrats! We share the same surgery date!
  13. I have been curious about this as well. I just assumed they didnt want you to use smoking as a replacement for eating.
  14. Carly I HAD one but it broke like a month ago. I love it! Get it! If I have another sex toy party I will invite you for sure to check it out!
  15. I was told meal replacements are fine for pre-op but not during post-op. The actually difference between the two? I have no clue!
  16. That right there gave me something to look forward to! Congrats on your NSV!
  17. I worry about a droopy vagina! But I know I'd rather be thin with a droopy vagina then fat with a plump one! I am sure exercise will help tone up everything too.
  18. Congrats on a great date! I have only seen my surgeon once too. I would call the office and maybe one of the nurses can set you up with another appt if you want to discuss your reflux. So far I have hit the gym to help with getting me in Exercise Mode!
  19. I agree we are tired of doing it ourselves. That was really the wrong thing to say to a bunch of sexual people in the Powder Room the jokes can go on for pages! Oh and as for a dildo in my Cheerios? I wouldnt imagine starting my day any other way!
  20. I am 24 and still uncomfortable asking a friend or even my OB. It takes a lot for me to be uncomfortable too. Thanks for the advice! If all fails I have internet to look things up lol
  21. I would love to try tampons but I seriously have no clue how to use one. I grew up with no mom/sisters so I learned pads on my own. I know I COULD learn how by reading the box but now I have Mirena and havent had a period in over a year. Next time I get one I think I will try a tampon.
  22. I WONT MISS -my thighs rubbing and being sore. -being completely depressed when leaving a store because NOTHING fit that I tried on. -People thinking I am dumb just because I am fat. - my lack of confidence to quit my job and look for a new one that respects me -Pretending I am too busy to go on a hike or rafting because I am embarrassed. -Dreading my 10 yr HS reunion and me still being fat.
  23. Who did you surgery? I met with one from PeaceHealth who was very nice. The name escapes me at the moment.
